Upscale neighborhood, among exclusive private houses directly on the beach (not across the street). Air-conditioned bedrooms and includes daily housekeeping, internet, and cable TV. Upper level has large living room, kitchen, dining room, veranda overlooking pool/ocean, large master bedroom with king size bed with private bath. Two additional bedrooms one with Queen and one with King and TV, share adjoining bath with hot shower. Lower level (pool level) has 3 bedrooms. Smallest room has one King bed and private bath. The Largest Bedroom has one King bed and one Queen bed, TV and private bath (as this room is in the middle it does not have windows). The 3rd room has 2 queen size beds and private bath. All Lower level bathrooms have climate-controlled water warm but not hot. Private Parties permitted at additional cost. There is a very nice public beach area which is only 100 yards along the beach from the villa, which is a white sandy beach and they offer shaded huts and a few umbrellas and some trees to sit under. The villa offers some light weight beach chairs which you may take along for your comfort. Also at the villa around the pool area is several gazebos which may offer the shaded areas and some protection. We can offer cooking services and most popular is our dinner which is prepared by a French Chef currently working at one of the hotels. We can arrange dinner preparation for any night but must coordinate this request in advance. Each cottage has a good quality queen size bed, bathroom, linen, towels, large bathroom, hot water shower, Wi-fi Internet, cable TV, well equipped kitchen with crockery, cutlery, glasses, pots and pans, microwave, fridge / freezer, kettle and toaster, split air conditioning in the bedroom and a porch. Everything in the house has been recycled, or was purchased 2nd hand, or given by good friends... so if you are not looking for luxury and frills, and you want to taste the local flavor...i am sure you will feel at home! I recommend renting a car, but if you choose not to do so, there is public transportation within walking distance. Description:Casa Opal is a cozy, spacious and very affordable accommodation 5 minutes from the idyllic, white beaches at the High Rise Hotels! Located in the popular quarter ' Opal ' you find number 84! This recently built house (2007) is fully fenced, and has 2 bedrooms each with a private bathroom (with toilet) and AC.There's also a room with a lot of closet space and storage room (for suitcases for example). An open, functional kitchen and living room with folding doors to the large cozy porch. You can leave this doors open and the nice Carribean breeze will come in. That's why we've chosen for 2 ceiling fans here instead of AC. At the spacious, covered porch you find a wooden table and chairs , a barbecue (gas) and a hammock. Where you can relax after a sporting day at (or under) the water or your relaxing day at the beach! What about an evening bbq, with a fresh bottle of wine? There are plenty of water sports nearby such as parasailing, wakeboarding, kiteboarding, windsurfing, deep-sea fishing, diving and more. Near the High Rise hotels there are a lot of entertainment opportunities, such as bars, nightclubs and a wide choice of restaurants. Something to do for everyone!
