Flat has tv, internet, stereo etc. Also the flat has tons of books in it so please have read while you are there The flat is in the middle of leafy queens park which has a lovely cafe, kids playground, tennis courts, pitch and putt and fab boules piste, great for a sunny afternoon! Nearby (3/4 minutes walk) is the main street, Salusbury Road, well known for its gastro pub, the Salusbury, lovely boutique shops as well as your local sainsburys and wine shop etc! There is also a fantastic farmers market every Sunday, which is great for browsing and picking up some Bristish food delights. Just up the road there are more shops, restaurants, pubs, music venues, 2 cinemas and more! We are only 15-20 minutes walk from the Portobello Road and the famous market and shops, and maybe 25 to Noting Hill gate. The flat is a great location for seeing all the London sites and also expereincing the secret delights of Queens Park. The room lights are controlled by switches either size of the bed. A yoga mat is provided (the apartment used to be a yoga studio), as well Jamie's collection of National geographic and Conde Naste Traveller magazines. --------- Ensuite – Bedroom one's ensuite bathroom has all-slate surfaces and natural stone walls and is kitted out with a powerful and walk in shower shower and really deep cast iron bathtub. --------- Bedroom Two – The second bedroom suite is 165sqf in size and has its own entrance area and separate shower room. There's a King sized bed with a deep 3” goose down topper, and 500 thread count bed sheets. This room has lots of original features: a 25ft vaulted timber ceiling, exposed brickwork, two electronically controlled roof windows with black out blinds. There's plenty of storage space with a large empty cupboard and luggage rack. We've provided a bone china tea set (according to tea people this apparently keeps tea hotter for longer!),a kettle, a selection of teas (Peppermint, Organic Green, Every day, Wild Berry, Earl Grey, Chamomile) and caramelised biscuits. As with the other room there'll be a gift box containing a welcome pack, your set of keys, towelled slippers, and other essentials we thought you'd like for a great stay. Description:This is a lovely one-bedroom flat on a quiet cul-de-sac off of Fulham Road and just south of Brompton Cemetery (there are not many places in central London where you will have as green a view from the bedroom window as you do here!) It's an 8 minute walk from Fulham Broadway station on the District Line or alternatively 15 minutes from Earl's Court where you can catch a lot more trains. There are also buses right on Fulham Road which will take you into town. Fulham Road has lots of restaurants and cafes and there's a 24 hour Tesco just across the street where you can get all your basic foods. A 20 minute walk away will get you to the museums of South Kensington. The flat is great for one person or a couple. It comes with a kitchen (hob and oven, should you be inclined to bake), microwave, kettle, toaster, fridge, washing machine, all utensils and crockery, hairdryer, iron, linen, towels, unlimited internet. The bathroom has a great shower. There is also a balcony. Description:AVAILABLE 28th JULY -15TH AUGUST ONLY Come and stay in our clean lovely house ten minutes from the beach and the famous Laines in the heart of the city. We are near beauty spots with lovely country walks.The town centre is a short cab ride away, with its many city attractions including restaurants, shops, cinemas, pubs, theatres, Brighton Pier and our new 'eye in the sky'. Brighton is 48 mins by train to central London. All mod cons and amenities, excellent frequent transport close to the house including a 24hr bus. The area is safe and friendly with free on street parking. We have 3 bedrooms sleeping 6 comfortably (or up to 8 with a squeeze at no extra charge) The beds can be arranged to suit - singles, doubles or a mix. Please note our roof bedroom is up 8 steep steps. We have a new kitchen and sunny lounge. The bathroom is roomy, our shower is great and hot water is always available. We provide brochures and board games, you can even play darts should the mood take you! The immediate area has small local shops open till 2am and a local cafe. A late supermarket is 10 mins away and a local pharmacy is open late too. Prices include: Fresh bedding, clean towels, wi-fi, tea and coffee. We provide soaps and spare toothbrushes. A hairdryer is in each room. We have lounge chairs in our sunny garden and a table for alfresco meals. You are welcome to use our chimenea (lovely on late summer evenings). We have bus maps, street maps and lots of tourist info including recommended restaurants and beauty spots. There is a Smeg oven and hob, washing machine, dishwasher, fridge/freezer. There is an eclectic collection of vintage crockery and glassware and a large dining table that comfortably seats 8. Bedroom One (with en suite) - Is off the main space, self-contained, large, light and airy. There is a comfy double bed, quality mattress, white Egyptian bed linen and a pretty ensuite with a powerful shower. Bedroom Two (with ensuite) - Is up the staircase on the mezzanine level - bright, light and very spacious. The grand Louis XV bed has a quality mattress and white Egyptian bed linen. There is a cute balcony with a table and 4 chairs. There is also a kooky bathroom with a powerful shower. LOCATION Islington/Finsbury Park: The local area has a great neighborhood feel and an eclectic mix of delicious restaurants, cafes and bars just outside the Mews gates. A short walk away is the pretty Highbury Barn Village where you can find the local Fromagerie, wine shop and legendary Butchers and Fishmongers should you fancy cooking. A 20-minute walk away is the fashionable Upper Street (Highbury & Islington/Angel) with lovely coffee shops, designer, vintage and antique and boutique shops, markets, stylish bars and quality restaurants, Cinema and Theatre. In a different direction is the trendy Stoke Newington and it’s boutique and vintage shops/ markets, award winning restaurants and nightlife. There are thre local parks close by should you fancy pic nics, tennis or a bike ride. If football is your thing - then we are a 10 minute walk away from the legendary Arsenal's Emirites Stadium. Available now during Olympic & Paralympic Games 2012 (26th July - 10th September) The area has great transport links, with just a 2 minute walk to Harringay Overground Station & 12 mins walk to Finsbury Park Underground Station (Zone 2, Victoria/Piccadilly line). If you re heading to London for the Olympics, it s relatively straightforward to get to the Olympic park, with minimal changes. If in doubt, you can always consult the big city map we have in our hallway! The apartment is also close to several bus routes, and a short stroll to the boutiques of Crouch End Broadway and excellent pubs and eateries of Stroud Green Road. We ve got a list of great restaurants we d recommend that are really close. There is also a big supermarket nearby, via a handy hail & ride bus that stops near to the apartment. And for all you outdoorsy types, Finsbury Park is minutes away, with many handy amenities (boating lake, outdoor weight machines, running track, tennis courts etc ) The flat itself is clean and modern, with wooden floors and tasteful furnishings. The two bedrooms are sizeable - both have double beds and ample storage space. In the living room is a flatscreen TV with Virgin Media and a big sofa that doubles as an extra bed. We also have a selection of great board games, all of which are incredibly good fun.
