Bostall Woods (part of the South East London Green Chain) includes one of the few camping and caravan sites in London and is a known source of fossilised sharks' teeth. The co-operative woods was also the site of the first camp for the Woodcraft Folk. St. Michael and All Angels Parish Church was opened in a temporary building in 1905. A permanent church, designed by Sir Arthur Blomfield, was consecrated three years later, and the original building became the church hall. The Victorian Crossness Pumping Station is another notable local attraction. If you wish to relax away from the hustle of central London, Abbey Wood has a number of parks and sports areas, including Bostall Gardens (play area, tennis courts and basketball court),Bostall Heath (cricket pitch, bowling green, orienteering, football pitch) and Abbey Wood Park (play area and football pitch). There is a train station directly opposite apartment that takes you to London Bridge in 30 Minutes where you would find a fantastic variety of top places to visit including everything from the world-famous Tower of London, London Dungeon and Tower Bridge Experience, to places with historical interest like Southwark Cathedral, Hays Galleria and walk to the South Bank. There are several places to eat, drink, shop and take plenty of momentum pictures! From Westminster, you can experience the Jubilee Line, which takes you to Westminster (Parliament), Bond Street (Oxford Street) and Green Park (to connect to Knightsbridge for Harrods). We gladly welcome you to London and we will ensure that you have a comfortable stay. If you have any questions or clarification, please contact us as soon as possible.
