The bedrooms are both light and bright and have a double bed and built in wardrobes in each. The bathroom is stylish and modern with a bath, separate shower, hand basin, heated towel rail and a W.C. A hair dryer is provided. Complimentary toiletries are provided for your arrival. The apartment benefits from wired and wireless internet access, an I Pod docking station, on site parking, an iron and ironing board. There is also a washing machine/ dryer within the apartment. Smoking is not permitted in the apartment but is allowed on the spacious terrace where a patio table and chairs are provided. Locally, Fulham, is very near the river Thames and so there are lovely river walks and river cruises on the Thames nearby. Bishops Park and Bishops Palace, home to the bishops of London since the 15th century are also nearby. A lovely palace, surrounded by a beautiful park and river walks. There are also good restaurants and pubs in the area. There is a fresh fruit and vegetable market and supermarkets all within five minutes from the apartment. There is a gym just five minutes' walk with a swimming pool. The apartment is very central to all of the tourist attractions - the Natural History Museum and the Victoria and Albert Museum in Kensington are about twenty minutes' walk from the apartment or ten minutes by bus. Kensington Palace where the late Princess Diana stayed is also about twenty minutes from the apartment or ten minutes by bus. Free off-sreet parking. The number 74 bus, just minutes from the apartment will take you to most of the tourist attractions - Hyde Park, Harrods department store, Oxford Street for shopping and ofcourse, the museums. Buckingham Palace and the Houses of Parliament are also within twenty minutes by public transport. West Brompton tube station is just three minutes from the apartment. West Brompton also provides a direct rail line to places outside of London. Description:Images to follow in May A lovely typical English terraced house in Trendy Lower Clapton, Hackney, London. 5mins drive or 20mins walk from the Olympic site. This is the perfect location if you want to be on the door step of the Olympic village and also experience everything London has to offer. If you want to be able to reach the Olympic Games easily as it is only a walk away. The local area is also offering a great selection of what is London. It has outstanding choice of arts and culture attractions, shops, bars and restaurants. Being a highly creative borough, Hackney is the home to more artists than anywhere else in Europe. We are letting our whole flat for the Olympics and also school holidays. It has 3 good size double bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, 2 large living rooms (one is geared up for kids and the other one for adults) and a massive garden where you can enjoy bbq's and alfresco dining. On top of this there is also free Wi-Fi and TV, washingmashine, iron etc. We have a cleaner that comes weekly. She could also help you with your washing and ironing if needed. The kitchen is well stocked so there is no need to eat out every day. The flat would suit a family or 3 couples sharing. Shops and amenities are 1 minute away on lower Clapton road which include several cafe's and pubs, a health-food shop, a brilliant convenient store or a Tesco metro if you prefer, an Italian deli, a Polish deli, an independent book shop and more. 10 minutes away you have even more shops on either Chatsworth road, Mare Street, Stoke Newington Church Street, and Dalston. It is only a 5 minute drive to the newest European (very luxurious and contemporary) shopping center Westfield-East with all high-street shops, restaurants, cinemas, a casino, bowling and more. There are 3 different train stations only 8 minute walk away and from there it is 5 minutes to Stratford, 20 minutes into Oxford Circus and the West End, 15 minutes to Camden, There are several bus stops nearby with buses to all over London including West End, Southbank, London Bridge, Tower Bridge etc etc. If you choose to stay in the area there are several great Markets and Farmers Markets nearby worth visiting (Chatsworth road market, Stoke Newington Farmers Market, Broadway Market, Ridley Road Market, Columbia Road flower market, Bricklane market) Chatsworth road and Broadway Market are especially near and they are great with loads of interesting stalls selling all sorts of things including bread and pastries, hot food, organic vegetables, meat and fish, olives and cakes as well as antiques, vintage clothes and crafts. There is often interesting live music and always a lively atmosphere. Stoke Newington is 15-20 minutes’ walk away with several restaurants, quirky independent shops, cafe's, bars, galleries etc. Dalston is 10 minutes’ walk away also with lots of shops and bars, clubs and cafe's. The famous Hackney Empire is moments away and there are also 2 cinemas nearby. Hackney Picture House and the Rio. Arcola Theatre is on your doorstem and Museums nearby includes Sutton House, Hackney Museum, V&A Childhood Museum, Geoffrey Museum, London Canal Museum. Description:I'm subletting my place during the olympics. from the end of July to the end of August. It's a live/ work space with a full kitchen, shower/ toilet and a mezzanine area for sleeping with a double bed. The main space is used as a photography studio so this might suit someone who's a photographer or has a lot of equipment they need to store during the olympics. The dimensions of the main space are: 33'x18'x12' or 10m x 5.5m x 3.5m It's large enough to comfortably shoot full length fashion and the ceilings are very high. Free use of internet and friendly neighbours. In the local area you will find everything you need for a great stay there are food shops, cafes, restaurants, takeaways, bars and clubs, all within a short walk of the front door. There are also some nice cafes and parks nearby. Close to Broadway Market, Victoria Park, London Fields and the canal which are all especially lovely in summer. The Olympics The apartment is in a great location if you are visiting the Olympics. It is just a short walk to Hackney Central Overground Station, and from there it is just 3 stops (10 minutes) to Stratford. As well as the Olympic Stadium you will also find the new Westfield Shopping Centre at Stratford, so if you need a break from sports you can hit the shops, or relax in one of the many restaurants, bars or try your luck at the casino!... more info >>
