Southend-on-Sea is London's holiday seaside resort town, made popular by the Victorians who flocked here in their thousands to escape life in the city. It is easily accessible by excellent mainline rail connections (Liverpool St. and Fenchurch St. - just 45 minutes on either link). By car, it is just 1 hour's drive on the 2 main arterial roads, either the A13 or the A127. London Southend Airport is just 10 minutes away with international flights commencing May 2012 to many European destinations. Southend-on-Sea boasts 7 miles of sandy beaches, beautiful gardens, parks, and the longest pier in the World with its own mini railway taking visitors to the pier end, over a mile offshore. Sailing, windsurfing, boat trips and all the fun of the fair are at the town's popular theme park, Adventure Island. Description:Quiet, light, secluded bungalow in Hove, 2 minutes walk to the sea. Large front garden and smaller rear garden. 10 mins bus journey to the centre of Brighton, 5 minute walk from shops and cafes. High speed, wireless broadband, large format TV, washing machine, tumble drier, dishwasher, central heating. Off street parking, garage, bicycles available. 5 mins walk to Hove Lagoon for windsurfing, sea kyaking and sailing. First bedroom has large king sized, double bed, second bedroom is our daughters and has single 'loft' style bed with a comfortable pullout double sofa bed. (more pictures to come..!) We are located approx 30mins from Gatwick airport. Approx 1 hour 10mins from Brighton to central London, fantastic rail service. Barbeque, some kids outdoor toys, garden furniture. Please note, that due to nature of the house, there is currently only cold water to the bathroom sink.
