Description:Come stay in our lovely 2 bedroom loft on a quiet mews in the quaint East London neighbourhood Stoke Newington. A few streets north of Dalston ('The coolest postcode in London' according to the Telegraph and Vogue) and a quick bus/train ride to Shoreditch. You can be to Liverpool St Station in 15min where you can hope on the Central Line or be to Dalston Junction in 5 mins where you can take the Overground to the Victoria line (be in the west end in 35mins) or be to directly to the Olympic stadium in 3 stops! We are conveniently located within walking distance to many great multi-national restaurants, pubs and clubs, cute shops, popular Church Street, and the beautiful Clissold Park. Tesco is on the corner and we even have a Whole Foods grocery a few streets away! There is also a farmers market around the corner on Saturdays. Stoke Newington is incredibly child friendly. With south and north facing windows and 3 skylights, our 1200 sqft warehouse conversion loft gets great light all day long. It on the first floor. There is no lift. Our building is very quiet, as we are on a mews and we share the main entrance with only 2 neighbouring lofts. We have a fully equipped kitchen with washing machine, large dining room with a 10 person dining table, and living area with Chesterfield sofa and chair and a day bed so you can lounge in comfort as you watch movies/tv on our 40inch HD flat screen Smart TV equipped with surround sound, FreeView, BBC Iplayer and an unlimited subscription to LoveFilm, so you can download films/tv programs as you like. We have Wifi internet and can offer you the use of a computer if you need. There is parking available in a private lot behind the building. It is locked during the night. We have a 1000 sqft private roof terrace with table and chairs and lots of plants. There are 2 bedrooms. Master bedroom with King size (UK) or queen size (US) bed. Second bedroom with a double bed (UK) or full (US). Mattress was recently purchase from John Lewis. We have a single day bed in the living room. And another person could sleep on the sofa or we also have a blow up mattress! Both room comes with feather duvet, a wardrobe with plenty of hangers and draw space for your clothes. We provide bed and bath linens as well. There is one bathroom with tub and shower. Description:Seeing as I am not competing in the Olympics, nor was I lucky enough to get a ticket - decided to rent out my house. Can't get a much nicer area than this that is close to Stratford, South Woodford to Stratford on the tube is 10 minutes direct route. It's about a 10min walk from my house to the underground. If you are interested in renting just a room outside of the Olympics date then please contact me. A returnable deposit will be required and this house is not exactly child friendly so would prefer all adults. Internet, beautiful garden, easy to park in the street or on my drive. All mod cons and a house that has got a lot of character. I do have a cat 'Ted' he spends most of his time in the garden and lean too, he can go in a cattery if you would prefer that. South Woodford has everything you need, cinema, restaurants,library, bars, typical English pubs and plenty of green spaces. Epping Forest is at the rear of my house as is a delightful lake.. If London ever gets too much for you head out to Epping in Essex on the underground, or pick up a bus to Cambridge, or overhead train to Richmond on the river Thames, great links from South Woodford.... more info >>

Description:Our 2 bed flat is situated in Hackney in East London (Zone 2). It is within walking distance to a number of weekend food/arts and crafts markets (such as Broadway and Chatsworth Road Markets), London Fields Lido heated outdoor swimming pool), a great variety of really good cafes/pubs/restaurants and the newly opened Hackney Picturehouse. For nature lovers it is a few minutes walk to VIctoria Park, the lovely River Lea and some nature reserve areas. Chatsworth Road is the closest street of note only 3 minutes walk away from the flat. There is a creperie, French deli/cafe, a couple of vintage cloth shops, a good hairdresser, a good Indian take-away, a good value jerk chicken hole in the wall, a new pop-up gallery, and an excellent Sunday market. The area is very safe and friendly and it has a villagey feel to it. It is also very child-friendly. We love it! The flat is 5 minutes walk to an overground station (Homerton) and by train it is only 5 minutes to Dalston, 10 minutes to Shoreditch/Hoxton/Liverpool Street and 20 minutes to Oxford Circus/Soho. Our home is in a bright and spacious Victorian ground floor flat. There are two double bedrooms, a living room with a dining area (and porcelain birds and cactuses), a fully equipped kitchen with washing machine and microwave, a bathroom with bath tub/shower, small private courtyard as well as access to a larger private courtyard where you are welcome to park your car (also good for BBQs but probably a bit optimistic to think that the British weather will be so generous in March/April). The flat sleeps 4 people comfortably. There is a proper double bed in the master bedroom and a day bed which turns into a comfortable double bed. We have a 7 month old baby so we can leave some baby/child equipment if needed (cot, baby bath, high chair etc). Please note that the cot in the master bedroom as shown in the photos will be removed unless you need it.
