Description:Our Thames riverside home is centrally located (not sunny Camberwell) within a few minutes walk to Tower Bridge. It’s around 10 minutes walk to London Bridge station and 6 minutes from Bermondsey underground which is 6 stops from the Olympic venue at Stratford (25-30 mins door to door). The apartment is within a prestigious gated development that boasts an award winning Japanese water garden. The property is on the ground floor and has it's own pontoon that overlooks the water and gardens. It’s very quiet at night so a good night’s sleep is guaranteed and most visitors can't believe they're in central London with it being so tranquil. The water is also home to a duck house and small number of friendly feathered friends and large coy carp. The grounds are accessed by a swipe card entry system and has 24hr concierge service, with full gymnasium. There are eight traditional British pubs in the vicinity as well as bars and top rated restaurants, easy access to the all the major tourist attractions and amenities such as boutique shops, delis and local markets right on our doorstep. Borough market, Tower of London, Tower Bridge, Tate modern and London Dungeons are all within a 10-20 minute walk. The property is approximately 850 sq ft and comprises of one queen size double bedroom with Tempur mattress and en-suite, separate luxury shower room with an all singing and dancing Japanese toilet! kitchen and a large lounge/​dining area with a 60 inch top of the range Plasma TV with full surround sound. Full cable TV access and fast free Wi-Fi. The outside pontoon/​deck is great for looking over the water and at high tide watching the tall ships go by on the river Thames which is at the end of the garden. The apartment comfortably sleeps four as there's a fully sprung quality double sofa bed in the lounge. We're in zone 1 of the London underground. Excellent access to the buses and river boats, so travelling around the city couldn't be easier. Although we love to walk everywhere as we’re on the Thames path, which takes you right into the heart of town passing many of the major sites. There's 3 mini-markets within 1-2 mins walk so you can stock up on essentials when you arrive, there's also a very large 24hr supermarket and shopping centre 20 minutes walk away, with 3 different buses taking you there in 5 minutes which also stop at the end of our road. We love travelling and meeting new people and have had great experiences using Airbnb ourselves so thought we would allow others to share our home whilst we are away. Description:The apartment is within the City walls of Chichester, just off one of the main shopping streets, so it’s quiet but still really central. There’s one bedroom with a double bed and en-suite bathroom. The kitchen opens onto the dining area and living room where there is a double sofa bed so you can easily sleep two couples in the apartment, there is a separate toilet (as well as the WC in the en-suite). I have a decent office setup with internet and a WiFi connection, the solid Oak desk /​ workstation was brilliantly engineered and crafted by one of my good friends. There are games, PS3/​BluRay, DVD’s, and a bicycle available for use. The development has a concierge service if you need anything and a secure underground car park on site (available with prior arrangement and a small deposit). I can organise high-chairs /​ cots for little ones. Chichester is a historical English cathedral city that dates back to Roman times. There’s a fair bit of culture in Chichester, with several art galleries, a well known theatre and an independent cinema. There are plenty of restaurants, including a Carluccio's and a Brassier Blanc literally around the corner if you fancy some thing simple, or there are some really fine restaurants in the area if you are after something special. Goodwood house is 10mins drive up the road up on the South Downs, during the summer they host the popular Festival of Speed, Goodwood Revival and Vintage festivals as well as Glorious Goodwood horse racing event, there’s the flying club too (prices vary during Goodwood Festivals). Going the other direction (South) you have Chichester harbour and West Wittering which are great places for sailing or power boating and Kite /​ Wind surfing.
