Notting Hill Gate tube station is less than 3 minutes walk away (10 mins to Oxford or Bond St on the tube) and there are numerous busses nearby that will take you into the West End too. Description:This bright and sparkling 2 bedroom new London Penthouse is ideally located just a few tube stops from the busy city centre,offering you a comfortable, safe apartment with every amenity. A perfect location from which to explore this great city and reach the Olympic Stadium in a few tube stops.. Enter the brand new apartment block through 2 sets of fob operated security doors and then the elevator to the top floor (only top floor residents are able to do this so it is quiet). Once you enter the apartment you will see that it is light and airy with contemporary furniture. There are dark wooden floors throughout except in the bedrooms which are carpeted. Both bedrooms are a good size with a superking bed in one and two twin beds in the other. There is one bright clean bathroom with bath and over bath shower. The living area is spacious and airy with lots of light and amazing views to Canary Wharf, the river Thames and the city. From the balcony you can see Tower Bridge and the 'Gherkin'. There is seating for 6-8 in the dining area and the kitchen is fully equipped with every utensil etc you could wish for including a built in coffee machine. London Bridge underground is 10 minutes walk away - the Jubilee and Northern lines link you from here to all of London's hot spots: Bond Street is only 5 tube stops (10 mins) and in the other direction it is only 15 minutes to the Olympic Stadium. Within easy walking distance is Shad Thames, a riverside area with a huge variety of shops and restaurants, and in the other direction Bermondsey Street with a vibrant villagey feel and some great restaurants/delis etc. The London Design and Fashion and Textile Museums are in the area as is the Tower of London. Maltby Street transforms at weekends into an extension of the famous Borough Market, selling a range of goodies from the arches such as artisan cheeses, wines, vegetables and the best coffee just next door to the apartment block.
