A stunning huge two bedroom, two bathroom flat in E1 Tower Hill, Zone 1. Includes two large and well appointed balconies which have been laid with artificial grass. Main bedroom has a fabulous high spec en suite including extra large walk in shower, walk in wardrobe and a flat screen TV on the wall. Second bedroom has lots of built in wardrobe and drawer space. Second bathroom includes large jacuzzi bath. Fully integrated kitchen including large fridge-freezer, dishwasher, washer/dryer and oven with microwave function. Granite work surface and 270 degree glass splashback including see through fish tank from kitchen to living room. High quality airbed available which can be set up in the living room if requested in advance. Location: Transport Flat is located in a conservation area next to the World Heritage Site of Wilton's Music Hall. It is a 5 mins walk to Tower Gateway DLR, or 5-7min walk to Tower Hill tube (District/Circle), or Aldgate (Circle/Metropolitan), or Aldgate East (District, Hammersmith and City) tube stations. It is an 8-10 minute walk to Shadwell DLR and overground. London Bridge station is a 20 minute walk or a 5 minute bus ride. The nearby buses are 15, 25, RV1. There are two Barclays cycle hire stations, or Boris bike stations within 3 minutes walk. The flat is located just off one of the main cycle superways in London which means cycling off road safely is very easy. Location: Amenities The nearest supermarket (Waitrose) is a 5 minute walk, there are shops 50 yards away (including convenience store, restaurants and hairdressers). Flat has several lovely well reviewed restaurants nearby including Rosemary Lane (haute cuisine), Cirilo (Asian fusion), Red Chilli (curry), The Empress (curry). A 5 minute walk will take you to the beautiful St. Katharine Docks with beautiful chain restaurants such as Zizzi (the prettiest Zizzi in London), Strada, Ping Pong, Cafe Rouge, Prohibition, Dickens Inn and Starbucks x 2. The fantastic Mahogany Bar (one of the coolest bars in London, patronised by numerous celebrities and trendy types) is 50 metres away. Wilton's usually has some excellent productions on. Location: other hotels Being located in a hotel district, the flat is a 5 minute walk or less from the following: The Grange City, The Grange Tower Bridge, Travelodge Aldgate, Travelodge Tower, Doubletree by Hilton, Apex City of London, Novotel Tower Hill, Ibis Aldgate. Location: tourism/business The City of London is on the doorstep and the offices of Soc Gen, Generali, Maersk, RBS, and many others are very close indeed. Tourist attractions nearby include Tower Bridge, the Tower of London, Wilton's Music Hall, Whitechapel Art Gallery, Whitechapel Bell Foundry. Very handy for the Olympics with excellent connections on the DLR. Description:SAFE, QUIET and CLEAN apartment near underground station. 1 minutes to all public transportation and 15 minutes to Central London, London Bridge and Big Ben! This is my third listing and I am planning to add a couple more before the summers! Please note that all my flats are or will be furnished to a high standard for your stay. There will be more pictures pretty soon! Please take benefit of a lower price for the initial few weeks on this flat. It is just USD110 per night!!! This flat is on the ground floor with a pretty patio in the back which is perfect for summer grills and under the star romantic dinner or wine may be! Are you a lady travelling on your own and looking for a safe reliable place to stay in London? Are you a cosy couple looking for a romantic getaway that affords you wonderful space to be yourselves at a decent price? Or do you simply need a place with ample space to sleep up to four people including during the Olympics AND has Wi-Fi? My flat is suitable for all of the above and when you book it there is NO sharing with people you don't know -) Ask for discounts if your booking starts in April or May 2012!!! There is a minimum booking period of 5 nights but I've left my settings to allow for 1 night bookings for occasional left overs between lengthier bookings. The flat can accommodate up to 4 people on real beds but could take in an additional couple of people on an air mattress. There is a queen size bed in the bedroom and a big sofa bed in the living room as shown in the pictures. If you key in 4 guests, airbnb will give a quote for all the 4 people. For e.g. 4 friends staying for a week in June 2012 would be just $50 per person per night! But if you are a couple then the price is only $150 a night for both of you! This is a luxury flat for a low price! On top of that it is even less expensive during low season months. And ofcourse it is more expensice during peak months of July-Aug. Please check my calendar for price! If you want to experience living in a real London neighbourhood, this is one of the best area. The local shops, pubs and cafes are great (to top it up very reasonable price cafe, shops, restaurants are around as well as pricey once too). It is 7 minutes’ walk from the famous Clapham Common (Public Park) which is buzzing with life and local people all year round. It is the best place to spend a few summer afternoons. There are a couple of local council (government) leisure facilities which could be used on a pay as you go basis. They are usually a few £ for each use which includes gym, clean and indoor warm swimming pool, racquet sports. TRANSPORT LINKS Less than 1 minute's walk to all the underground, train & bus routes. The buses are 24 hours. It is located 1 minute to underground station which can take you to central London (e.g. London Bridge, Bank, Embankment, Oxford circus and Leicester square) within 15-20 minutes. Buses and over ground trains also run frequently between my flat and all parts of London including central London. Additionally there are a couple of night buses which will bring you safely from central London if you fancy a late night out e.g. night clubs. There are a lot of grocery stores e.g Sainsbury's, Tesco and M&S all within walking distance AND few £1 shops around (you will be surprise what you can get for a £1 in those shops:-) Brixton (10 minutes walking) itself is a bit like a cool village within a large metropolis. It is a lively spot with many bars, restaurants, clubs, cinemas, cafes, markets and health food shops to name but a few. And if you value your food and the planet there is a great organic farmers market locally every Sunday! Brixton will give you a taste of the real London for those of you looking to go off the beaten tourist track into the local heart of this great city. If in doubt check out 'Brixton Village' market online and you will then know what I am talking about! It's even been written up in the New York Times. This would suit anyone travelling through London who wants to see a bit of authentic London life with its pubs, bars, people and local living, and have wicked access to the west end and all the sights. Basically this is where the real Londoners live! My flat is half an hour to Stratford underground station which is the nearest station for Olympic Park 2012. All other London attractions, Wembley stadium, Earls Court, Wimbledon, Lords, and Hyde Park are also half an hour from my flat. The flat has got everything you would need during your stay in London. Description:Available for you to rent is a 1 bedroom fully furnished apartment. I live in the Kennington/Vauxhall/Oval area, south of Thames. Quite close to Central London - 20 min by bus to Piccadilly circus and Soho. The Parliament buildings at Westminster and the London Eye lie within walking distance. There is a view of Big Ben from my balcony. The building is brand new (built in 2009). Available for you to use are Wi-fi internet access, cable tv, a microwave, fridge, freezer, electrical oven, washing machine (sorry, no dryer - they are not very common in the UK). King size bed (for 2 people), a couch and an additional airbed if needed. There is no smoking inside the apartment, and no pets are allowed. I often travel and it would be great to rent out my flat while I am away. I have a friend who will be able to meet you and give you the keys. The area is very nice and green. Several parks are nearby (Kennington park and Vauxhall park). There are several very good restaurants nearby, a big grocery store (Tesco) is a 10 min walk away. The area is very safe.
