Quite close to Central London - 20 min by bus to Piccadilly circus and Soho. The Parliament buildings at Westminster and the London Eye lie within walking distance. There is a view of Big Ben from my balcony. The building is brand new (built in 2009). Available for you to use are Wi-fi internet access, cable tv, a microwave, fridge, freezer, electrical oven, washing machine (sorry, no dryer - they are not very common in the UK). King size bed (for 2 people), a couch and an additional airbed if needed. There is no smoking inside the apartment, and no pets are allowed. I often travel and it would be great to rent out my flat while I am away. I have a friend who will be able to meet you and give you the keys. The area is very nice and green. Several parks are nearby (Kennington park and Vauxhall park). There are several very good restaurants nearby, a big grocery store (Tesco) is a 10 min walk away. The area is very safe.
