There is also a front door and small patio area which is accessed from the estate. This area around the flat is a quiet residential area with tree lined Victorian and Georgian streets and close to Barnard Park. There are some excellent gastro pubs within a few minutes walk and Upper Street is just 5 minutes walk away. You will find everything you need on Upper Street including supermarkets, cinemas, restaurants, bars etc.... The flat has one gorgeous bedroom with comfy double bed, wardrobe, dressing table and big window looking out onto the garden. The garden is a work in progress which is slightly hampered by this cold weather! The lounge is decorated with some of my favourite art prints and is spacious with plenty of room for you to relax after days of sightseeing! There are double doors leading onto the garden which overlooks a classic row of London Georgian terraced houses and offers easy access through the gate towards Upper Street. Guests have the use of two sofa beds, LCD TV, DVD player, Ipod speakers, and dining table with six chairs. The newly fitted kitchen comes fully equipped with everything you should need for a comfortable stay. There are brand new integrated apppliances including a washing machine, dishwasher, microwave and espresso machine. And if you decide to have a night away from Angel's excellent choice of bars and restaurants, there is a brand new fridge freezer, gas hob and electric oven for you to cook up a storm on! The flat is also moments from Regents Canal and I would highly recommended taking time to stroll 30 mins either upstream to Regents Park and Camden or down river to the beautiful open spaces of Victoria Park and the emerging Olympic Village. There are lots of riverside pubs and cafes to make the walk even more enjoyable!! The flat has a patio as well as a lovely south facing garden (with wild strawberries in season) a display of deck chairs, garden tables and chairs to enjoy a meal outside with a glass of wine. It offers the best of London with a zest of French culture. The flat has been refurbished and redecorated throughout: new bathroom (wet room) new kitchen, freshly painted walls and an exquisite French décor. In the drawing-room there are two antique walnut (19e century) book-shelves, a brass chandelier and two (19e century) recently upholstered Crapaud armchairs in a bright red velvet. In the bedroom two antique (19 century) walnut bedside tables sport a rare “Verde Serpentine” marble top. The flat comes equipped with linens and towels as well as a washing-machine for your own laundry requirements. Burnaby Street is two minutes from London’s famous Kings Road with its trendy high-end shops, boutiques, coffee-houses, cinemas, bars, restaurants and night-clubs - London’s beautiful people throng to Bluebird, Eight over Eight, Beaufort House, Raffles and the famous ‘151’ - all within a fifteen minute walk. Transport links to the property - by plane, the closer airport is Heathrow, either take the Heathrow Express to Paddington station and jump in a taxi, the ride will take 20 minutes or take the tube (Piccadilly line) to South Kensington station, with a 10 to15 minutes taxi ride to the property . Another alternative is Gatwick airport. The Gatwick Express brings you directly to Victoria station, the taxi ride will take 15 minutes. Alternatively, you can go on the tube at Victoria, take the district or circle line to South Kensington or Sloane Square, the taxi ride will be 10 to 15 minutes long. By train, take the Eurostar at St Pancras International station, taxi ride will take 25 minutes to the property. Transport links from the property - take a train from the newly-opened Imperial Wharf station (7 minutes walk from the apartment) and join the District Line - which gives access to the whole City with its museums, art galleries, palaces and ancient buildings - at West Brompton station. Or stay on the train to Olympia - or in just 9 minutes the new Westfield Shopping Centre with its shops, bars and cinemas.
