A stunning huge two bedroom, two bathroom flat in E1 Tower Hill, Zone 1. Includes two large and well appointed balconies which have been laid with artificial grass. Granite work surface and 270 degree glass splashback including see through fish tank from kitchen to living room. High quality airbed available which can be set up in the living room if requested in advance. I can also provide a very nice cot or moes basket at a small extra charge so long as you let me know you need one in advance. Location: Transport Flat is located in a conservation area next to the World Heritage Site of Wilton's Music Hall. It is a 5 mins walk to Tower Gateway DLR, or 5-7min walk to Tower Hill tube (District/​Circle), or Aldgate (Circle/​Metropolitan), or Aldgate East (District, Hammersmith and City) tube stations. It is an 8-10 minute walk to Shadwell DLR and overground. London Bridge station is a 20 minute walk or a 5 minute bus ride. The nearby buses are 15, 25, RV1. There are two Barclays cycle hire stations, or Boris bike stations within 3 minutes walk. The flat is located just off one of the main cycle superways in London which means cycling off road safely is very easy. Location: Amenities The nearest supermarket (Waitrose) is a 5 minute walk, there are shops 50 yards away (including convenience store, restaurants and hairdressers). Flat has several lovely well reviewed restaurants nearby including Rosemary Lane (haute cuisine), Cirilo (Asian fusion), Red Chilli (curry), The Empress (curry). A 5 minute walk will take you to the beautiful St. Katharine Docks with beautiful chain restaurants such as Zizzi (the prettiest Zizzi in London), Strada, Ping Pong, Cafe Rouge, Prohibition, Dickens Inn and Starbucks x 2. The fantastic Mahogany Bar (one of the coolest bars in London, patronised by numerous celebrities and trendy types) is 50 metres away. Wilton's usually has some excellent productions on. Location: other hotels Being located in a hotel district, the flat is a 5 minute walk or less from the following: The Grange City, The Grange Tower Bridge, Travelodge Aldgate, Travelodge Tower, Doubletree by Hilton, Apex City of London, Novotel Tower Hill, Ibis Aldgate. Location: tourism/​business The City of London is on the doorstep and the offices of Soc Gen, Generali, Maersk, RBS, and many others are very close indeed. Tourist attractions nearby include Tower Bridge, the Tower of London, Wilton's Music Hall, Whitechapel Art Gallery, Whitechapel Bell Foundry. Very handy for the Olympics with excellent connections on the DLR. This is a recently decorated duplex apartment right in the centre of London. I would say that it is 4/​5 star hotel suite style accommodation when you see all the extra facilities you have at your disposal - read on to see what they are.... You are slap bang in the middle of London in Covent Garden - which makes seeing all other parts of London a lot easier as there's less distance to go. There are several different tube (metro) lines within 2 mins walk and lots of buses going in all directions. Plus overground train stations a short distance away either walking or going on tube. As you are right in the centre you will save LOADS of money on transport. Public Transport in London is EXPENSIVE so being able to walk to virtually every major tourist destination in town is going save you loads. e.g 1 day travel card zones 1&2 which covers underground, buses, trains etc. costs £8.00 daily or £27.60 weekly!! Multiply that by 2 and you are spending a lot. Much better to just spend the money on a cheap bus fare when really necessary (or even a cab) rather than pay a small fortune daily just to get to the centre. Covent Garden may be buzzing all day and night but the apartment is on a quiet side street, so is peaceful enough for this central location. The main bedrooms are not on the street side of the building so they are very quiet. The apartment is kitted out with all the latest gadgets and stuff that cool apartments should have. Real wood floors, designer lighting, 50 LCD with internet, surround sound/​hifi blu-ray, huge funky red leather corner sofa, open plan kitchen with American style fridge freezer w/​ice maker and filtered water, wine cooler/​cellar, dishwasher, nespresso machine, washer/​drier, balcony accessed from lounge with table and chairs overlooking large, beautiful private gardens (see photos) which you have access to! This is almost impossible to have in this part of town! You have Soho at a couple of mins walk but when at home you have none of the noise and drunken chaos of that part of town. So you'll sleep peacefully. Within walking distance: virtually every theatre, the British Museum, Tate Modern, loads more museums, places of historical interest, the river Thames, South Bank, London Eye, Trafalgar Sq, Buckingham Palace, cinemas, pubs, literally thousands of shops, boutiques, open air markets, bars, restaurants, clubs - all walking distance. Too many things to list here. And Hoxton/​Shoreditch/​Camden etc. is not far away by tube, bus or cab (less than 10 mins).... a nice area to visit by day or night but you wouldn't want to sleep there as a tourist! The flat has wifi, cable LAN, washer/​drier, dishwasher, dvd rental subscription for that night you may want to stay in, lots and lots of stuff - did I mention the balcony which catches the setting sun every day? All in all a fantastic flat in an incredible location! Not to be missed! There is no private pool - but there is one of the few open air heated pools in London 30 seconds walk away! It's even visible from the apartment - See the photo of the gardens. There is a gym there too with sauna, classes, indoor pool, squash courts. You can get in using a day pass and it works out very cheap. Hey, there are even some open air tennis courts walking distance that can be hired if you're feeling really sporty. Alternatively, you can jog round any of the lovely parks we have nearby - Hyde park, Regents Park, St. James Park and Green Park are all close by. The apartment it's self is a one bedroomed galleried space with very high ceilings and lots of natural light set within an old victorian matchbox factory on a site of seven acres, It's a unique development and set in one of London's largest communal gardens, within a very secure environment. The flat is close to train tracks but these are well managed with very effective double glazing that insulates the flat from any noise The Bow Quarter is in the heart of London's east end, close to Victoria Park and the beautiful canal systems that run all the way to the Lee Valley as well as the the popular east end districts like Shoreditch, Hackney and Dalston which are famous for their great pubs, bars, restaurants and clubs The on site facilities includes: CCTV system across the whole site and security staff, indoor parking, a shopping centre thats open 7 to 11 and a bar and restaurant on site.
