There's the overground train to Euston and the North London Line to Stratford, which takes about 30 minutes to the Olympic site. There are loads of buses that go to various destinations including Hyde Park Corner and the West End. On Abbey Road there are buses to Regent Street, Portobello Market and Camden. On Kilburn High Road there is a Tesco, Marks and Spencers, Sainsbury's and everything you need to buy. St John's Wood is a quiet and safe area. It has lots of good restaurants and pubs. The apartment is also within 10 minute walking distance from 3 main tube stations (Liverpool Street, Old Street, Shoreditch High Street) and even countless bus routes. It sits just outside the Congestion Charge zone so no need to pay a daily fee to drive in. Combined this makes the area one of the most connected in London. A Barclay's Bike Hire docking station is right outside which provides a fun cheap and easy way to get around the streets of London.
