Description:My house is an award winning architectural dream come true. A zen, cabin like house in Dalston, merely a short bus or train ride away from Olympic city. The building is a serene getaway enclosed by black and white stone and dark wood panelling. My place is fully equipped with all the living necessaries and luxuries. The bathroom has an XL bath with a skylight above it as well as a waterfall like shower with a sitting ledge for meditation. The living room has a TV and entertainment system, ipod music systems, projector, cable, WIFI, couches and futons and cots for extra guests. The kitchen has a dishwasher, oven, microwave, washer, dryer, huge industrial size sink, induction stove, toaster, coffee maker, kettle... basically everything including cooking essentials (ie: Olive Oil, Knives...) The bedroom has a king memory foam mattress, ipod dock, plenty of storage, a private terrace. There is floor heating throughout the house, and in the summer months the entire house can open up to let the sun and air in! The garden has bamboo, a BBQ and a Webber fire pit as well as chairs for basking. Smoking is allowed outside only. One station and 10 minutes by bus all it takes to bring you to Olympic City!!!. Dalston Junction is the tube station as well as Dalston Kingsland, Hackney Downs, Hackney Central are all within walking distance and buses (38,55, 56, 73) a few blocks away take you everywhere to the town center (Piccadily, Soho) in approx. 20 25 minutes My house is in a multi ethnic neighborhood, very trendy mixed family owned homes. Lots of cafes, bars, jazz cafe and a major movie mecca (the Rio) and London Fields with its famous farmers market are within walking distance. Bike rides along the canal to Victoria Park and to Angel are heavenly! The pictures are a mere attempt at showing how special my place is! Description:This fantastic open space in Seven Sisters will contrast any experience in London. The studio is around 800 sq. foot and offers a calm and open space to relax in. There are good transport links into Central London: Victoria Line (10 min to King's Cross) Busses to Central London and East London and a train service to Liverpool Street and to Stansted Airport from South Tottenham station (15 minute walk). ALSO: GOOD LINKS TO THE OLYMPICS! There are shops for food and the like close-by (an excellent Turkish grocery shop too) and my kitchen, though I unfortunately don't have a gas stove, is wonderful to cook in. I have lots of kitchen appliances (Juicer, food processor) and utensils, so you should feel free to cook at home. I have a large fridge. Description:Stay on this lovely individual, comfortable boat in the heart of London and experience the capital from a different point of view. Jessie is a 57 foot canal boat (or narrowboat) completed in 2011. She is 6 foot 10 inches wide. She can sleep 4 people in comfort, for 2 she is luxurious. The boat has a warm inviting interior and space on deck to sit and watch the world go by. The appropriately named Little Venice (a name coined by the poet Robert Browning) is a very pretty corner of London, famous as home to hundreds of beautiful canal boats and convenient base from which to explore the capital. Two underground stations and good bus routes to all parts of the city are a short walk away. There is something very special about returning to the peace and quiet of the canal after a day in the city. There are lots of local pubs, restaurants, cafe and shops in the immediate neighbourhood. 2012 OLYMPICS Jessie will be in the Pool of Little Venice for six weeks covering the Olympic period. Since mooring costs have increased for me during this time I have had to increase the nightly rate but not by very much. This is still good value for a central location with all the fun of being on the water. See the calender for dates. Free Wifi connection. The sleeping accommodation is made up of a double cabin at the front with doors to a small but comfortable front deck. There are two single bunk beds to the centre of the boat and a very comfortable sofa which flattens out to a double bed in the living area. Which you choose to use is up to you. The bathroom has a shower, a fully flushing toilet, and a wash basin with shaving point. The living area is to the centre of the boat with a solid fuel stove for chilly evenings, a wall mounted digital TV (DVD/CD player). There is a large comfy sofa/bed (storage underneath for bedding). A folding dinning table and additional chairs allows for 6 place setting. The galley has a gas hob and oven with grill, a good size fridge with freezer compartment, a sink and draining board, cupboards and drawers housing all the usual kitchen equipment. Water is held in a tank onboard and needs topping up every few days (depending on your usage). This will be done by your host. Hot water is generated from the engine. Living on board is not quite like a conventional house and needs an understanding and patience with the natural limitations.It may therefore not be for everyone. Power is supplied from Jessie's battery via an inverter which supplies numerous 240 volt power points around the boat. The inverter restricts your use to 1800 watts at one time. Running the engine for a period each day takes care of the batteries and heats the water. Instructions will be given by your host who will be on call should you have a problem.... more info >>

Close to Russell Square Underground Station, St. Pancras Station, Kings Cross Station (and Platform 9-3/4), West End, British Museum. Coffee shop next door, bus stop less than a block. 2-bdrm, 2-bath flat excellent for family or 2 couples on vacation together. Property was clean, especially kitchen and bathrooms. Managers Cam and Adam extremely helpful. They arrived when they said they would. Wi-fi wasn't working when we arrived, but they immediately corrected that. Procedures and expectations for rental of flat were well-explained. Flat was well-represented on internet. Shopping center with movie, shopping, and most importantly, a big Waitrose grocery nearby (across street from Russell Sq Underground Station). Between bus and/or underground, easy access all over London. Kitchen/sitting area very nicely fitted out: microwave, stove, coffee maker, refrigerator/freezer, dishwasher. Apartment-size washer/dryer, too. Dishes, flatware, pots/pans provided. Big-screen TV for those evenings you prefer to be in. 4 people showering in the morning, never ran out of hot water. Renting this flat, as opposed to being crowded into a hotel for 10 days was an EXCELLENT lodging choice for our London vacation. We were in London for 10 days. We were with another couple. Being in the flat gave us all room to spread out. Being in a hotel for 10 days would have been very cramped. Also, both couples would have rented a hotel room. This will take you to Victoria station within 20 minutes, or there is a bus right outside the apartment that will drop you off in central London in one hour. We both commute into the City every day with ease! There are also express buses that go non stop to Waterloo station during rush hour to make our life easier. Because we live there full time, this property is only on offer while we're away on holidays. Full kitchen facilities (no microwave, but we have oven, stove, blender, breadmaker, etc) Washing machine, TV with Freeview box, DVD player, free wi fi access and local calls are all included.
