The apartment has a raised relaxation/seating 'zone' and a double bed pulls out of this at night time and is out of sight during the day leaving plenty of space for entertaining and relaxing. The flat is next to the tube so you can get to most of the West End in less than 20mins. A short walk from the artsy shops and cafes of Bermondsey street where you can also relax in the park or have a game of Ping Pong. The weekend markets pop up under the nearby railway arches and Bermondsey Square. Walk to the Thames in 5 minutes where you'll find the Design Museum, Butlers Wharf shops and restaurants and Tower Bridge a bit further down - keep going and you'll reach London Bridge and SouthBank activity that runs all the way down to Waterloo and the London Eye. I do live here most of the year but have made it available as I'm away on holiday so you'll have everything you need in terms of bedding, towelling and cooking. You will have the use of the entire place, which is on the first floor of a secure newly built apartment block (there is a lift in the building). I have underfloor heating, wireless internet, TV and DVD player, digital radio and washing/drying machine. The transport links are great five minutes walk to a mainline train station with services into central London (London Bridge, Waterloo and Charing Cross), access to the Jubilee Line, plenty of buses and of course the Thames Clipper boat service. You can walk to the beautiful Greenwich Park in under ten minutes and Greenwich has a host of restaurants and pubs, Greenwich Market, The Royal Observatory, The National Maritime Museum, the Royal Naval College and historic buildings such as The Queens House. It's a great tourist location in itself, have a look at this website for more information: For the Olympics: Superbly placed for the events in Greenwich Park and the North Greenwich Arena (AKA the O2 Arena). The main Olympic Park is a short tube journey away (North Greenwich to Stratford is three stops). Woolwich is 15 minutes away for the Shooting and Archery events and access into central London is really easy as detailed above. As this is my main home I find it difficult to take last minute bookings. There is wireless broadband, a laptop available, cable tv, dvd player and an Ipod docking system. The bathroom is a good size with a bath, shower-head and basin. There is pay and display parking available. The apartment is very central, close to the attractions of the stunning Maida Vale / Little Venice, Primrose Hill with it's iconic views of London, the thriving Camden Town and in the other direction Notting Hill and Portabello Road being a 10 minute bus ride away. Also just up the road is Swiss Cottage and St John's Wood which have very good underground transport links for the rest of London. There is a bus on the street which takes you to Notting Hill and Kensington. There is also a bus you can get which takes you to Baker Street (Madame Tussauds, Sherlock Holmes Museum and the Beatles Shop) and also onto Oxford Street, again, only 15mins away by bus.
