Many buses on your doorstep to many points of London, including the number 8 which takes you right to Oxford street and Oxford Circus via Liverpool street and Tottenham Court Road. The studio itself is a great size and is tastefully furnished, with an ensuite, fridge, microwave, double bed and large LCD TV and speedy Internet access. Private access to the studio with access to a kitchen and washing machine. There is also roof access to an amazing view overlooking London. Perfect place for exploring, relaxing, dining and is extremely close to everything that London has to offer. The infamous Bricklane curry houses and weekend markets are literally outside the door and you are just 10 mins walk to the Columbia Flower Market. Description:Our house is spacious, bright and cozy. White walls and bare floorboards in most rooms, open kitchen giving onto the dining room. Private Wifi available. The 'master bedroom' has a queen-size bed. the second room has a smaller (but good for 2 people) Victorian iron bed, with window on the garden. The garden is facing southwest, great for lunches in the sun! Our cat is friendly, but won't be in your way. There's a shop across the street, for essentials. Nunhead cemetery is great for walks, and will lead you to the very good fishmonger (FC Soper) on Nunhead lane, and a bit further north to the deli 'Frog on the Green'(fab courgette fritters!). There's also Peckham Rye Park, on the other side of which lays Lordship Lane, full of bars, restaurants, delis. 5 minutes walk is Honor Oak Park, if you like a hill. Description:Queens Park, Zone 2, West London THE HOUSE Our house is a 2 bedroom flat built in 1896 (Victorian). It has the original floorboards throughout and is tastefully decorated. Its a warm house, with central heating and rugs throughout. In our lounge we have all mod cons (cable TV, free wireless internet access etc), and a good sized kitchen with large kitchen table on which you can plan your days over fresh coffee! Once you have discovered London, come home to our garden retreat. We have a good sized, private garden, which captures all day sun. When the sun goes down, light the BBQ if you like to eat outside! We have 2 bedrooms. 1 room is a double, with a double bed. The second room is a single room which has 2 x single beds (as a trundler bed). The house therefore is good for 4 people. THE LOCATION (QUEENS PARK) Queens Park is central and convenient for exploring the best of London (parks, galleries, shops, gastro pubs and theatres!). We are located 5 minutes walk from Queens Park tube station, and its a 15 minute tube trip from Queens Park to Oxford Circus. In addition to this, we are 10 minutes walk from Kensal Rise Overland station, which takes you directly to Richmond, Hampstead and Camden. There are also direct buses from our door to Marble Arch (15 minutes), Portabello (15 minutes) and Notting Hill (20 minutes). More importantly, we are well served by some of London's finest pubs. In 10 minutes you can be enjoying a pint in The Paradise, The Regent, The Salisbury or The Chamberlayne - all of which are 5* pubs and must be visited. them for reviews, each has its own ambience - and all have great restaurants. Description:Beautiful and homely Victorian house on a quiet residential street in the heart of buzzing and cosmopolitan West Hampstead village,north west London. The house is comprised of 1 good sized comfy double bedroom, which has good storage and a 2 seater leather sofa. There will also be fresh white bed linen and white towels for you in here. Also there is a fully fitted bathroom (bath and shower over the bath) with toiletries for your use, plus an additional W.C downstairs. There is an open plan living/dining room with a huge comfy leather sofa (that you won't ever want to leave!) and ideal for the third person to sleep on, there is a working gas fire (that looks like a real fire, but without having to shovel coal far too messy), and a bright eat-in kitchen with french doors leading to a lovely south facing patio garden. The kitchen has a gas hob and electric oven and microwave for all your culinary needs, under floor heating (a very nice touch especially in the winter!) a double stainless steel belfast sink that you won't have to use because there is a dishwasher! and a washing machine. There is also a breakfast table that can seat 4 people comfortably. On arrival there will be tea, coffee, milk and bread for you, a fresh fruit bowl provided and fresh flowers to welcome you. The garden has a large gas barbecue and full sized patio heater for those cooler nights when you still want to enjoy the outdoors. Plus there are a table and chairs and 2 sun loungers for those sunny days to soak up the rays in this sun trap of a garden. Yes we do get wonderful sunshine, and even though you're not in sunny Spain, you will feel like you are!!! The house has all the amenities you could wish for on your doorstep. There are numerous coffee shops including Starbucks, Costa Coffee and Cafe Nero in the village. And there is a fantastic array of restaurants including Strada, Pizza Express, La Brocca (a great Italian), Nandos (for the chicken lover), and Banana Tree (my favourite for Thai/Indonesian cuisine), fabulous pubs (The Alice House for a young buzzy atmosphere with year round heated outside seating, and the Alliance Pub for a quieter and friendly gastropub experience) and many bars that all serve great food. Not forgetting several hair salons and charity shops, stylish clothing boutiques, a fabulous book shop, a bike shop, a bakery open until midnight every night (for a late night freshly made bagel on a Friday night on your way back from the pub) convenience stores, a Tesco Metro and Sainsbury's Local, Barclay's Bank, and plenty ATM machines. Fantastic take away food is also available in the area of any type of cuisine you could wish for. I will leave out my favourite selection of take away menus for your convenience (they all know me very well!) With great transport links into the West End, you can reach Soho in 10 minutes on the underground, 20 minutes by bus and 15 minutes by car. Taxi into the West End is approximately £15. West Hampstead underground station (the closest station) is a 10 minute walk, as is the Silverlink overground train station and the Thameslink station is a 5 minute walk away. From this station you can reach London St Pancras in 9 minutes directly for all Eurostar connections plus national and regional train connections, as well as a direct train to London Luton Airport and Gatwick Airport from here. Heathrow is 30-40 minutes by car or train, Luton 30-45 minutes by car or train, Gatwick being 1 hour away. Local taxi numbers will be provided to help make getting around the city hassle free. Free parking is available on request. The stunning Hampstead heath is within walking distance for fabulous surroundings and a lido and swimming pond if you're feeling brave! and Regent's Park is only 10 minutes away where you can hire a row boat or catch some Shakespeare in the amphitheatre if you are lucky! Also there is a VUE multiplex cinema a 10 minute walk away in the Finchley Road 02 centre to see your favourite blockbuster movie. We have high speed wireless internet connection, and Sky in the living room with all movie channels, a DVD player, VCR, and surround sound system, and an all-in-one easy to use music system. Description:Come stay in our lovely 2 bedroom loft on a quiet mews in the quaint East London neighbourhood Stoke Newington. A few streets north of Dalston ('The coolest postcode in London' according to the Telegraph and Vogue) and a quick bus/train ride to Shoreditch. You can be to Liverpool St Station in 15min where you can hope on the Central Line or be to Dalston Junction in 5 mins where you can take the Overground to the Victoria line (be in the west end in 35mins) or be to directly to the Olympic stadium in 3 stops! We are conveniently located within walking distance to many great multi-national restaurants, pubs and clubs, cute shops, popular Church Street, and the beautiful Clissold Park. Tesco is on the corner and we even have a Whole Foods grocery a few streets away! There is also a farmers market around the corner on Saturdays. Stoke Newington is incredibly child friendly. With south and north facing windows and 3 skylights, our 1200 sqft warehouse conversion loft gets great light all day long. It on the first floor. There is no lift. Our building is very quiet, as we are on a mews and we share the main entrance with only 2 neighbouring lofts. We have a fully equipped kitchen with washing machine, large dining room with a 10 person dining table, and living area with Chesterfield sofa and chair and a day bed so you can lounge in comfort as you watch movies/tv on our 40inch HD flat screen Smart TV equipped with surround sound, FreeView, BBC Iplayer and an unlimited subscription to LoveFilm, so you can download films/tv programs as you like. We have Wifi internet and can offer you the use of a computer if you need. There is parking available in a private lot behind the building. It is locked during the night. We have a 1000 sqft private roof terrace with table and chairs and lots of plants. There are 2 bedrooms. Master bedroom with King size (UK) or queen size (US) bed. Second bedroom with a double bed (UK) or full (US). Mattress was recently purchase from John Lewis. We have a single day bed in the living room. And another person could sleep on the sofa or we also have a blow up mattress! Both room comes with feather duvet, a wardrobe with plenty of hangers and draw space for your clothes. Our house is one minute from Bethnal Green Tube (Central Line) and it's only a 6 minute journey by tube to Stratford, the main station for the Olympic Park, and 15 minutes from Oxford Circus. I am a musician and my husband is an artist. Our house is old, built about 1825. It's characterful, with many original features and stripped floorboards throughout, and is furnished simply and comfortably, We overlook Museum Gardens, The Museum of Childhood and St John's, a John Soanes' church. Description:Stay on this lovely individual, comfortable boat in the heart of London and experience the capital from a different point of view. Jessie is a 57 foot canal boat (or narrowboat) completed in 2011. She is 6 foot 10 inches wide. She can sleep 4 people in comfort, for 2 she is luxurious. The boat has a warm inviting interior and space on deck to sit and watch the world go by. The appropriately named Little Venice (a name coined by the poet Robert Browning) is a very pretty corner of London, famous as home to hundreds of beautiful canal boats and convenient base from which to explore the capital. Two underground stations and good bus routes to all parts of the city are a short walk away. There is something very special about returning to the peace and quiet of the canal after a day in the city. There are lots of local pubs, restaurants, cafe and shops in the immediate neighbourhood. 2012 OLYMPICS Jessie will be in the Pool of Little Venice for six weeks covering the Olympic period. Since mooring costs have increased for me during this time I have had to increase the nightly rate but not by very much. This is still good value for a central location with all the fun of being on the water. See the calender for dates. Free Wifi connection. The sleeping accommodation is made up of a double cabin at the front with doors to a small but comfortable front deck. There are two single bunk beds to the centre of the boat and a very comfortable sofa which flattens out to a double bed in the living area. Which you choose to use is up to you. The bathroom has a shower, a fully flushing toilet, and a wash basin with shaving point. The living area is to the centre of the boat with a solid fuel stove for chilly evenings, a wall mounted digital TV (DVD/CD player). There is a large comfy sofa/bed (storage underneath for bedding). A folding dinning table and additional chairs allows for 6 place setting. The galley has a gas hob and oven with grill, a good size fridge with freezer compartment, a sink and draining board, cupboards and drawers housing all the usual kitchen equipment. Water is held in a tank onboard and needs topping up every few days (depending on your usage). This will be done by your host. Hot water is generated from the engine. Living on board is not quite like a conventional house and needs an understanding and patience with the natural limitations.It may therefore not be for everyone. Power is supplied from Jessie's battery via an inverter which supplies numerous 240 volt power points around the boat. The inverter restricts your use to 1800 watts at one time. Running the engine for a period each day takes care of the batteries and heats the water. Instructions will be given by your host who will be on call should you have a problem.... more info >>

The trendy shops bars and restaurants are all close by, or if you want the West End, the 2 Tube stations (Chiswick park and Turnham Green are 5 or 7 minutes walk away) will get you there in 20 minutes. The local attractions are the historical Chiswick House and Gardens and famous botanical gardens of Kew should not be missed! Further on there is Royal Palace of Hampton Court on the River Thames. Transport links nearby include Highbury &Islington Station (Victoria Line, National Rail) and Essex Road Station (National Rail) while motorists can gain easy access to the A1(M) for routes out of London to the North. The house is about 25 minutes away from Oxford Street on the bus/tube. From there you can easily walk to most of London major touristic attractions. Description:in leafy south east London, five mins walk from the beautiful open spaces of Peckham Rye, ten minutes walk from East Dulwich village (whose high street was recently voted the best in London!) bursting with bars, restaurants and great shops. There's parks galore and a swimming pool/gym a twenty minute walk awame from home with wooden flooring downstairs, a master bedroom boasting superking bed, (and TV) another room with a single bed (a great childrens' room) and a third with a double sofa bed. There's a TV/DVD/Ipod docking station, wireless internet access. We also have a little garden complete with decking,tables and chairs, slide and sand pit. The overground station is a fifteen min walk away with a ten min journey into Victoria or 15 mins to Blackfriars. There are also fantastic bus services into central London. South Bank, Tate Modern, London Eye, BFI are all a short bus ride away. Getting into central London is very easy either on overground train or bus ride. Description:This is a brand-new Summer House which is in my courtyard garden, It is totally private!! It is self contained and open plan, it has a vaulted ceiling with 8 velux windows, which gives it a lovely, spacious feel. It has a very comfy pullout double bed and i can supply another bed if needed! It has a great fully fitted kitchen. The bathroom consists of a beautiful, marble wetroom with a walk-in shower and a toilet and sink. There is a white Flat Screen TV which comes fully equipped with SKY, which is the UK premium cable service. There are comfortable white leather sofas, great lighting and a cosy fire place.
