Description:This newly built log cabin is located in Cullowhee, North Carolina and is surrounded by the Smoky Mountains. The views are amazing this time of year! Our cabin has three bedrooms. The master bedroom has a queen bed with a master bath. The upstairs guest room has a queen bed. The bonus room has a futon that folds out to a full bed as well as two air mattresses. There is a full bathroom upstairs and an additional half bath off the kitchen. There is a fireplace and a barbecue grill. Description:The Bungalow at Little Willow Falls sits perched over a Natural Spring, with a 70 foot Cascading Rock Shoal, Waterfall. The sound of the falling water and the rain falling on the Vaulted tin roof is so relaxing and peaceful. The outdoor hammock off the side porch as well as the table, chairs and loungers next to the waterfall on the front deck are great places to relax. Within a few miles of The Bungalow is the town of Flat Rock, home to the Flat Rock Playhouse (the North Carolina State Theater), and the Carl Sandburg Home. Carl Sandburg was Abraham Lincoln's biographer, a U.S. Poet Laureate and a well known musician and journalist. The Playhouse puts on Broadway plays to packed out audiences throughout most of the year. The Carl Sandburg Home is operated by the park service and has tours of the Home (which was left just as it was when he died), extensive walking trails and a running goat farm. The house is tastefully decorated to provide you with a calm oasis very close to central Asheville, also know as the Paris of the South for its many cafes and European flavor. High speed Internet and expanded cable are provided with wifi throughout the house. A washer and dryer are available for use on the property. Three comfortable bedrooms and 1.5 baths. Accomodates 6 people with ease. The living room is bright and casually elegant. There is a fireplace with gas logs for cozy ambiance. The bedrooms have plush mattresses. The master bedroom has a kig size bed. The middle bedroom has a queen and the third bedroom has two twin beds. All linens are provided. The bedrooms provide beautiful views of the trees and distant mountains can be seen from the front bedroom through the leaves. They are very bright and airy and perfect for napping, sleeping, or reading quietly. Please note that all bedrooms are on the second floor. There is a television room off the living room with a 32 flat screen television. We provide expanded cable channel selection for television viewing as well as high speed internet. Netflix is provided as well. The house has wifi throughout. Ceiling fans are provided in each room of the house. There is a private deck with a view of the back garden. Patio furniture is provided. The kitchen is fully equipped with electric stove and oven and refrigerator, but it is a country kitchen meaning that it is not super modern (no diswasher or disposal). We provide recycling bins and encourage you to use them.We also compost vegetable material. There are pots and pans and cutlery provided. If you have special needs, let us know and we will try to accomodate. We live very close by. The dining room table has two leaves for expansion and seats 6 people. The main bathroom has a tub and shower with a rain showerhead and small heating fan. The second bathroom provides a toilet and sink. A washer and dryer are provided for your use. They are located in the basement. The heat is radiated steam heat. Perfect and even throughout the house. We suggest you turn the thermostat down in the evening for cooler sleeping. Heat from the bottom floor will rise up into the bedrooms throughout the evening. There is a fireplace in the living room with gas logs.
