A very large wardrobe with fancy glass doors provides plenty free space to accommodate all of your personal belongings. Situated right next to the shopping district of the Amsterdamsestraatweg and the Plantage. In average a 15 to 20 minute walk take you to the heart of the city center, Mariaplaats a five minute bicycle ride. Next door there is the Juliana Park, excellent for a picnic, an afternoon stroll or jogging. Buses number 3 or 120 take you also in five minutes to Utrecht Centraal (main train station) which connects you in 30 minutes to either Amsterdam Centraal or Schiphol (Amsterdam International Airport). Description:Located south in Haarlem and within walking distance to busstation, large park, shopping mall, fitness centre and many independent bicycle lanes (bicycle available) for comfort and culture and good infrastructure to everywhere in the country. The entire house is available to you when you select this property. The apartment has a large bedroom, large kitchen, separate fully equipped office, large living room and large balcony with sun on the 2nd half of the day. You can also make use of all the amenities provided, including the central heating, a fully-equipped kitchen, dishwasher, WiFi, SONOS sound system in living room and kitchen, washing machine, printer & further office equipment, my bicycle (extra bicycles can be provided) and I will leave typical Dutch food in the freezer to enjoy (or just try). On the lovely balcony a BBQ can be used. Parking is available at the front of the building and always enough space. Haarlem is a beautiful cobble-stoned city and from the busstop it is 17 minutes to Schiphol, 7 minutes to downtown Haarlem, to popular Zandvoort beach 30 minutes and 25 minutes to Amsterdam Central. I will provide the convenient travel card with a little charge (please add on as you use). Better than taking the public transport is going by bicycle, from the apartment many locations as the beach, dunes, lakes, and cultural locations can be reached by roads only for bicycle. About Haarlem, located on the banks of the Spaarne river, this relaxed city is full of picturesque canals, a maze of narrow streets, hidden gardens and many of the best dutch museums. A 12 minute bicycle trip aside the Spaarne river will lead you downtown to ‘Kleine Houtstraat’, a pretty boutique shopping street voted to be the best in the Netherlands many times. The city also boasts many great restaurants and bars and this historical beer-brewing centre has a lively culture and active nightlife. The local Haarlem beer brand with unique taste, Jopen, is brewed in a well-renovated church where you can enjoy the different flavours. Description:We live in a small monumental house on the eastside of Utrecht city centre. Our house is an oldie, built in 1898, and has a livingroom, an open kitchen, 2 toilets, a jacuzzi, 2 bedrooms and a garden (south and sunny). In one bedroom you'll find a lits-jumeaux and in the other, smaller room it's possible to make a bed for a third person, or a bed for two small children. In our kitchen you'll find a SMEG stove with oven, a Nespresso coffee machine and a milk foamer. In our garden - which is pretty big for Dutch city gardens especially in Utrecht - we have a WEBER BBQ on gas, so it's useable all the time. We also like to grow veggies and berries, so everything that grows here, you can eat. And finally we've got 2 racingbikes (with big locks) you can use to bike into the sparkling city centre of Utrecht. You'l be there in only 5 minutes! Utrecht is - according to National Geographic - a bizarrely under-visited and graceful city. Just like Amsterdam (which is only 20 minutes from Utrecht) the old town is encircled by a medieval canal. Take a boat ride, it's worth it! Utrecht’s impressive townhouses nowadays are filled with bohemian cafes, amazing shops, great restaurants and bars. We know quite a few nice spots you can visit. Ofcourse Utrecht has some wonderful museums too. The Nijntje (Miffy) House, The Rietveld House and The Central Museum are the most visited. Utrecht is also a good starting place for a trip to almost anywhere. Amsterdam is 20 minutes away, Rotterdam and The Hague 40 minutes and Haarlem is just 50 minutes away. The train (just a 10 minute bike ride from our house) will take you to these nice cities and for the most part you can also take a ride back at night! In Dutch this is called the nachtnet and it works very well. Because Holland is quite small a visit to Belgium (Antwerp is very nice and about 1 hour and 30 minutes away) and Germany (Dusseldorf is an hour and 30 minutes away) is also an option. Paris - for the real traveller - is (onlur drive. We can provide tips to almost every city we named... We like to travel, so we've visited all of them. With all amnities, like lounge set, bbq, parking places, dishwasher, washmaschines etc. For a big family or 2 couples. The bedrooms are spacious. We have 3 bikes and 3 kids bikes. We could also rent out 1 or 2 cars. The neighborhood is situated in the old farm village of Blaricum. Blaricum is the number 1 or 2 place to live in The Netherlands, with many restaurants, spacious neighborhood, hospital, and well positioned, also it is superb to go cycling or walking.The public transport is no good, we should think you would need a car. Description:The livingroom is spacious with two doors to the garden. Because the garden site of this room is made of glass it's very light inside. There's also a piano. The kitchen is very cosy with a table for (comfortable) 6 people but 8 to 10 is also possibly. Everything you need is there: a dishwasher, microwave etc. Of course there is one toilet in the hall. On the first floor you find a small study (with computer) and two bedrooms (ca. 16 m2) with extra beds. There's a small but comfortable bathroom (with bath and shower) and a seperate toilet in the hall. The masterbedroom is on the second floor and is very cosy. On this floor you find the washingmachine and the dryer. We live sinds 2002 in this house and everything has been renovated back then. You can use the barbeque and our bicycles. At the end of the street you can see the green environment. There are horses and mules. The town we live in is one of the most beautiful places of Holland. It's very green and you can make great walks. The river Rhine is 5 min. away from our house. Also worth for walkings. There is also a museum specialized in WW II: Airborne Museum. But you can also walk into the town to shop or dine in one of the restaurants. That's the beauty of it all: nature, good restaurants and shopping is all within a few minutes walking. Our town has a railway station (Amsterdam is about 1 hour by train) and lots of buses. Arnhem is the nearest big town and you can also visit Germany, it's only 30 min. away by car. We hope that it is not a problem to take care of our cat Zaza. The period to rent our house is from 27/7-9/8 or 19/8.... more info >>
