Ghent is a small city with 297 bars, 50.000 students, an alive music scene with free concerts every day, good secondhand shopping, very relaxed natives and almost no cannibals. The city lies between Bruges and Brussels, and that's also what it feels like: you get a romantic setting with pretty medieval buildings (like Bruges) mixed up with a living nightlife (like Brussels). I'm moving out in June, so my flat will be mainly unfurnished. There will be a bed though, and a table to eat at with two chairs . The flat is completely yours during your stay. Description:Studio Jan van Goyen is located on a beautiful canal very close to the centre of Leiden (Jan van Goyenkade 20B, in the Vreewijk neighbourhood). The old city is on just a five minutes walk. The apartment (540 sqft) is equipped with tv/dvd, free wireless internet (wifi), kitchen and bathroom, washing machine and dishwasher. There is also a garden with shed. The very comfortable double bed can be converted into two single beds and there is a sleeping couch for a third person.
Studio Jan van Goyen is a ground floor apartment with its own entry.
Breakfast (selfservice) can be found in the refrigerator. The studio can be rented for a minimum of two nights, but is also very suitable for a longer stay so do not hesitate to contact me if you would like to rent the studio as sublet. In 2012, one of our guests wrote the following in our guestbook: Whilst engaged in clinical research in Leiden I was most fortunate to find and lease the Studio van Goyen for 6 months from October 2011 to April 2012. I can say with absolute honesty that, in all of my working travels it has been the best home I have ever experienced! The Studio is within easy walking distance of traditional shops and a supermarket (open all Sunday). Aside from it's beautiful canal-side setting in the student part of town the Studio is modern, exceptionally clean (thank you for the thorough job you do and the flowers you leave there) and the kitchen and entertainment system are well equipped (free internet). The long single room adjoins an immaculate shower room and the rear door to the garden gives peaceful access to the shed freezer. Add to all this the kind concerns expressed by Trees Koenders in sorting any problems and I cannot think of a more worthwhile package!! Description:Nice apartment on the groundfloor with a little garden. 1 bedroom with double bed and a bed for a little child. There also is an extra bed and the sofa , which sleeps great too. The badroom has a shower, toilet and a washingmachine. Just a 5/10 minute walk to the dunes, beach and harbor. There are also a couple of nice green parks nearby. City center and touristic zone (Scheveningen-bad) at 10/15 minutes by bus/car. Shops are around the corner, bakery, supermarket, flowershop, drugstore etc. (bakery sells MUST TRY Turkse pizza!!) Wifi-internet Free parking in front of the door Public transport is around the corner (Bus 22 and Tram 12). At this moment you can still buy a 30-minute card (€2,50) or a 60-minute-card (€3,50) both one-way in the bus or tram. But if you plan to stay a while in the city it would be cheaper to have an 'OV-chip'. You can find more information on (The Hague Transpottation company) Touristic points of interest like Museum (GEM), Museon and Madurodam are nearby. Points of interest for study or business nearby are ICTY, Academy of International Law, Shell, Europol, Hospital Haga/Pedriatic Hospital) Some of the facilities in the apt are washingmachine, microwave-oven, dishwasher, fridge, coffee-machine, electric waterboiler. Description:If you’re looking for an affordable alternative to the expensive hotel prices in Amsterdam or are looking for short stay family accomodation, this is the perfect house for you. The house is an ideal base for exploring Amsterdam and surrounding areas and accommodates a family of 4 or 5 easily. The house has been recently renovated, tastefully decorated and equipped with modern appliances. It is located in Naarden, a charming, historic, fortress village, shaped like a 6-point star. The house has a newly renovated, modern, open kitchen with dishwasher, microwave and “American” refrigerator. The dining area and living room are spacious and open up to the garden, a perfect spot for enjoying the late summer evenings. There are two bedrooms upstairs and a bathroom with a separate shower and a tub. You also have access to a washer and dryer. There are two other rooms that are locked and unavailable. The house is comfortably furnished and includes: - cable tv, dvd, stereo - sofa, reclining chair and dining table for 6-8 persons - two bedrooms - one with a double bed and one with a double bed and single bunk bed - free wireless internet access - full kitchen including dishwasher, microwave, large refrigerator, large oven - washing machine and dryer - and bicycles upon request!
