The curtains reach from ceiling to floor, a boxing bag is attached onto the old wooden columns, in front of the window stands a Chinese woodcarving, and a big beautiful plant finishes it to perfection. Description:Located south in Haarlem and within walking distance to busstation, large park, shopping mall, fitness centre and many independent bicycle lanes (bicycle available) for comfort and culture and good infrastructure to everywhere in the country. The entire house is available to you when you select this property. The apartment has a large bedroom, large kitchen, separate fully equipped office, large living room and large balcony with sun on the 2nd half of the day. You can also make use of all the amenities provided, including the central heating, a fully-equipped kitchen, dishwasher, WiFi, SONOS sound system in living room and kitchen, washing machine, printer & further office equipment, my bicycle (extra bicycles can be provided) and I will leave typical Dutch food in the freezer to enjoy (or just try). On the lovely balcony a BBQ can be used. Parking is available at the front of the building and always enough space. Haarlem is a beautiful cobble-stoned city and from the busstop it is 17 minutes to Schiphol, 7 minutes to downtown Haarlem, to popular Zandvoort beach 30 minutes and 25 minutes to Amsterdam Central. I will provide the convenient travel card with a little charge (please add on as you use). Better than taking the public transport is going by bicycle, from the apartment many locations as the beach, dunes, lakes, and cultural locations can be reached by roads only for bicycle. About Haarlem, located on the banks of the Spaarne river, this relaxed city is full of picturesque canals, a maze of narrow streets, hidden gardens and many of the best dutch museums. A 12 minute bicycle trip aside the Spaarne river will lead you downtown to ‘Kleine Houtstraat’, a pretty boutique shopping street voted to be the best in the Netherlands many times. The city also boasts many great restaurants and bars and this historical beer-brewing centre has a lively culture and active nightlife. The local Haarlem beer brand with unique taste, Jopen, is brewed in a well-renovated church where you can enjoy the different flavours. Description:Studio Jan van Goyen is located on a beautiful canal very close to the centre of Leiden (Jan van Goyenkade 20B, in the Vreewijk neighbourhood). The old city is on just a five minutes walk. The apartment (540 sqft) is equipped with tv/dvd, free wireless internet (wifi), kitchen and bathroom, washing machine and dishwasher. There is also a garden with shed. The very comfortable double bed can be converted into two single beds and there is a sleeping couch for a third person.
Studio Jan van Goyen is a ground floor apartment with its own entry.
Breakfast (selfservice) can be found in the refrigerator. The studio can be rented for a minimum of two nights, but is also very suitable for a longer stay so do not hesitate to contact me if you would like to rent the studio as sublet. In 2012, one of our guests wrote the following in our guestbook: Whilst engaged in clinical research in Leiden I was most fortunate to find and lease the Studio van Goyen for 6 months from October 2011 to April 2012. I can say with absolute honesty that, in all of my working travels it has been the best home I have ever experienced! The Studio is within easy walking distance of traditional shops and a supermarket (open all Sunday). Aside from it's beautiful canal-side setting in the student part of town the Studio is modern, exceptionally clean (thank you for the thorough job you do and the flowers you leave there) and the kitchen and entertainment system are well equipped (free internet). The long single room adjoins an immaculate shower room and the rear door to the garden gives peaceful access to the shed freezer. Description:Since i like to travel a lot myself i have my big appartment for rent sometimes. I am very flexible with dates. My appartment is very big and perfectly located, in the historical city centre, at the canal. All the main attraction in Utrecht (Dom tower, musea, Museumkwarier neighourhood, cinemas, restaurants, bars) are on walking distance and the the train to Amsterdam is only 30 minutes. The central train station is also on walking distance, but if you want to take the bus, the bus stop is just few steps away. The appartment is not luxerous in the design but it is defenitely nice and has all the things you need. The appartment is on the ground floor and has a big living room/ kitchen en another very big living room/office. The kitchen is fully equiped with everything you need: gas stove with elekctric oven, fridge with freezer, water cooker, coffee maker, more than enough pans, plates, glasses et cetera. The appartment has one big bedroom with a double bed and a small bedroom with a single bed. The appartment is very comfortable with 3 persons, but there is a possibility for 2 extra people on the double sofa/bed in the office. And i have an extra matrass to put on the floor. So when you need it, there is space for 6 people. The bathroom is upstairs and has a sink, a shower in a bath and a washing machine. There is a seperate toilet downstairs. The whole appartment is about 120 square meters! If you are with a bigger group and bring your own matrasses, you can stay as well! Once there we were with 21 people sleeping here and it was no problem. There is kitchen equipment like plates and forks, knives for 25 people. There is a little garden with a table and chairs with sunshine in the morning (perfect for breakfast), and there is a possibility to sit at the terrace at the canal to enjoy the sun in afternoon. The nice extra is that I have two kayaks and a little boat, which you can use for free. Wifi for internet is available and included in the price.
