Description:One bedroom apartment (398 square feet) on the ground floor (street level). 14 miles from the airport. With an internet connection (wireless) Next to the center of Leuven, just 2 minutes walking to the bus station, and 5 minutes to most of the shops (supermarket, grocer's, chemist's, butcher's, clothes...), 3 minutes by bus to the railway station (train to the airport). There's a beautiful Botanical Garden 100 yd further where you can go for a walk or a picnic. The apartment is very nice and clean. It is an ideal apartment for 2 persons. Very tranquil as it is on the back of the building. I live 15 minutes from the apartment and am ready to help you. You can always call me on my mobile for any question. Cable television, radio and CD-player, as well as wireless internet. The kitchen has eveything you need to cook (cooker, cooker hood, fridge, microwave oven, 'Senseo' coffee machine for coffee pods). Separate bedroom with a double bed, private bathroom with toilet and bath (shower possible, too), nice living-room with south facing window to enjoy the sunshine and the view on big trees. Leuven is a beautiful city, best known for its university, the remarkable architecture, and the Belgian beer Stella Artois. It is quite small, but if you got some time and you'd like to get away from the big cities, Leuven is a great choice. Though it is quite small (you can perfectly walk from one interesting place to another), you'll find many shops, café's, restaurants, cultural activities and tourist attractions here. And because of the many students hanging around, nightlife as well is vivid and much fun. It's a cute little town. It is what most Americans think of when they imagine a smallish European city : Cobblestone streets, cafés all over, pigeons, old churches, a beautiful city hall, etc. Leuven is in the centre of Belgium, and only 25 minutes driving from Brussels, 55 from Liège, 80 from Gent, 90 from the coast, 60 from Ghent... Description:The holiday house is designed by an architect and has unusual features. It has round shapes and it's spacious, light and situated in a holiday park with a fishing pond, play park, football field and it's only 5 minutes walking to the beach! Discovering the area by bicycle (renting) or by foot are great things to do, because of great cycling paths and foot paths through beautiful landscapes like: dunes, endless meadow fields (cattle or flowers) and little villages. The main supermarket is in the neighbouring town: 3km. The house comes with wireless internet, cable TV and a CD player (with USB port). Bedrooms: One master bedroom with double bed. Two bedrooms upstairs with each 2 single beds. One bedroom downstairs with bunkbed and a desk. Wooden cot available. Bathrooms: En suite bathroom to the master bedroom with bath/shower combination and toilet. One bathroom upstairs with bath/shower combination and toilet. A separate toilet downstairs.
