Description:This flat is only available in JULY. 1-room flat on the 17th floor with a stunning view. The old city centre is a 10-minute walk away. Ghent is a small city with 297 bars, 50.000 students, an alive music scene with free concerts every day, good secondhand shopping, very relaxed natives and almost no cannibals. The city lies between Bruges and Brussels, and that's also what it feels like: you get a romantic setting with pretty medieval buildings (like Bruges) mixed up with a living nightlife (like Brussels). I'm moving out in June, so my flat will be mainly unfurnished. There will be a bed though, and a table to eat at with two chairs . The flat is completely yours during your stay. Description:We live in a small monumental house on the eastside of Utrecht city centre. Our house is an oldie, built in 1898, and has a livingroom, an open kitchen, 2 toilets, a jacuzzi, 2 bedrooms and a garden (south and sunny). In one bedroom you'll find a lits-jumeaux and in the other, smaller room it's possible to make a bed for a third person, or a bed for two small children. In our kitchen you'll find a SMEG stove with oven, a Nespresso coffee machine and a milk foamer. In our garden - which is pretty big for Dutch city gardens especially in Utrecht - we have a WEBER BBQ on gas, so it's useable all the time. We also like to grow veggies and berries, so everything that grows here, you can eat. And finally we've got 2 racingbikes (with big locks) you can use to bike into the sparkling city centre of Utrecht. You'l be there in only 5 minutes! Utrecht is - according to National Geographic - a bizarrely under-visited and graceful city. Just like Amsterdam (which is only 20 minutes from Utrecht) the old town is encircled by a medieval canal. Take a boat ride, it's worth it! Utrecht’s impressive townhouses nowadays are filled with bohemian cafes, amazing shops, great restaurants and bars. We know quite a few nice spots you can visit. Ofcourse Utrecht has some wonderful museums too. The Nijntje (Miffy) House, The Rietveld House and The Central Museum are the most visited. Utrecht is also a good starting place for a trip to almost anywhere. Amsterdam is 20 minutes away, Rotterdam and The Hague 40 minutes and Haarlem is just 50 minutes away. The train (just a 10 minute bike ride from our house) will take you to these nice cities and for the most part you can also take a ride back at night! In Dutch this is called the nachtnet and it works very well. Because Holland is quite small a visit to Belgium (Antwerp is very nice and about 1 hour and 30 minutes away) and Germany (Dusseldorf is an hour and 30 minutes away) is also an option. Paris - for the real traveller - is (onlur drive. We can provide tips to almost every city we named... We like to travel, so we've visited all of them. Description:Since i like to travel a lot myself i have my big appartment for rent sometimes. I am very flexible with dates. My appartment is very big and perfectly located, in the historical city centre, at the canal. All the main attraction in Utrecht (Dom tower, musea, Museumkwarier neighourhood, cinemas, restaurants, bars) are on walking distance and the the train to Amsterdam is only 30 minutes. The central train station is also on walking distance, but if you want to take the bus, the bus stop is just few steps away. The appartment is not luxerous in the design but it is defenitely nice and has all the things you need. The appartment is on the ground floor and has a big living room/ kitchen en another very big living room/office. The kitchen is fully equiped with everything you need: gas stove with elekctric oven, fridge with freezer, water cooker, coffee maker, more than enough pans, plates, glasses et cetera. The appartment has one big bedroom with a double bed and a small bedroom with a single bed. The appartment is very comfortable with 3 persons, but there is a possibility for 2 extra people on the double sofa/bed in the office. And i have an extra matrass to put on the floor. So when you need it, there is space for 6 people. The bathroom is upstairs and has a sink, a shower in a bath and a washing machine. There is a seperate toilet downstairs. The whole appartment is about 120 square meters! If you are with a bigger group and bring your own matrasses, you can stay as well! Once there we were with 21 people sleeping here and it was no problem. There is kitchen equipment like plates and forks, knives for 25 people. There is a little garden with a table and chairs with sunshine in the morning (perfect for breakfast), and there is a possibility to sit at the terrace at the canal to enjoy the sun in afternoon. The nice extra is that I have two kayaks and a little boat, which you can use for free. Wifi for internet is available and included in the price. Within 25km there are five theme parks which are great for children or adult groups. 1 hour drive to Amsterdam and 90 minutes by train. 90 Minutes by train/car from Schiphol airport. Known for its historicall well preserved old center, famous university, museums and situated between the green heart of South Holland and the North Sea, Leiden is a nice alternative for the more crowded Amsterdam. This town is the biggest intact fortrified city of Europe and from the air or on the map thats still visible. Leiden was once home to the Pilgrim Brothers before they moved to North America where they played a major role in the foundation of the U.S.A. Leiden has also a famous botanical garden near the university ( the oldest of The Netherlands ). From Leiden it is close to De Keukenhof which is the most photographed spot on the planet!!
