Description:With it's own entrance, and free parking nearby, this flat is just a 5 minute bus ride into Brighton Town, or a 15 minute walk and is on many bus routes. The Studio itself is also used for Yoga and Dance sessions, so is spacious and inspiring! It has its own entrance, kitchenette and bathroom, and an open fire for cosy winter evenings. The Studio space itself has wooden floorboards, plants and is adorned by Buddhas and eastern decor. The bed and seating is low, so it may not be for you if you prefer dining at a high table with chairs... Overall it can be adapted to sleep more as it is very spacious, with japanese screens to create private sleeping areas. Perfect for relaxing, being with friends and visiting the great City of Brighton!... more info >>

Description:This is a lovely one bedroom attic apartment, and you'd have the whole place to yourself. I'd like to think it has character, warmth and brightness, and that anyone staying there would easily feel at home. On a quiet, attractive street, it's only one minute's walk from Hove beach so the sea is pretty much on my doorstep. Hove seafront is stunning in all seasons, friendly and perfect for swimming in warmer months. Around the corner is the best Italian cafe/restaurant in Brighton and Hove - it serves freshly caught seafood and makes its own ice cream. My friends and I practically live there! At the other end of my road is the centre of Hove - with restaurants, teashops shops, banks - everything you'd need. The apartment is a 25 minute walk along the seafront into the centre of town, but there are buses every couple of minutes, if you're feeling lazy. The living room, bedroom and bathroom are a very comfortable medium size. The kitchen is 'bijou' but has all amenities, and is rather cute. The bedroom comes with freshly laundered cotton sheets, duvets and towels. I've taken care over decorating the flat throughout, and there are plenty of books, CDs, DVDS and vinyl records (treat them gently, some are very old) to enjoy. I've a lovely old Roberts radio if you fancy listening. I live quite simply. Therefore I don't own a TV, DVD player, dishwasher or washing machine or dryer, but the launderette is at the end of my road (3 minutes walk), and they're very friendly in there. The apartment has internet access. Parking is roadside - though you'd need to pay for vouchers from the machine. Brighton & Hove is renowned for it's lack of parking spaces and hawk-eyed traffic wardens, so be warned! I have friendly, trustworthy neighbours. Hove is a reasonably quiet area, plus it is a quick bus ride to the nightclubs and bars of Brighton - so you get the best of both worlds. Brighton Festival is on during the whole month of May, with many cultural, musical and artistic things to see and do. Also, where I live is out of main centre, and so you would have somewhere to relax away from it. You can check out what's on on the Brighton Festival website.... more info >>

You can then walk down to the sea via the Brunswick Square gardens. While you're here, you must also visit St Ann's Well Gardens just north of the flat. It's a small beautiful park with winding paths, a fish pond, tennis courts, bowling green, children's play area and a café. Special treats If you like your foodie treats you will be in heaven as not only are you across the road from The Real Patisserie and The Chocolate Workshop but if you turn right and walk up Western Road a few blocks you will find another even fancier patisserie called Patisserie Valerie. Halfway in between is La Cave a Fromage which sells all the cheese you can eat. Further afield, don't miss the incredible cakes at retro teashop Treacle and Co (64 Church Road) and yummy cupcakes at Angel Food Bakery (20 Meeting House Lane, The Lanes). Nice pubs close by include The Paris House (on Western Road across the street), The Coopers Cask (3 Farm Road), and The Lion and Lobster (24 Silwood Street). For a more quirky place to drink try The Bee's Mouth (a few minutes left and across the street on Western Road). Coffee The best coffee close by can be found at The Small Batch Coffee Company (10 mins walk to the right on the corner of Church Road and Wilbury Road) or Ground Coffee House (15 mins walk to the right at 84 Church road).
