Description:Our flat is situated just outside the city centre of Bruges in a quiet street with little traffic. Reaching the centre takes about 10-15 minutes on foot, less than 5 by bike. Neighbourhood: There's a bus stop at the end of the street to and from the train station/city centre (bus 9). Baker's, butcher's, supermarket all within 1.2 miles/2 km. The seaside is about 11km from our front door (a very nice 45-minute bike ride). Bicycles maps available. Or why not take the train to Brussels (1 hour), Ghent (25 minutes), Antwerp (1 hour), the sea side (10 minutes). Parking / Wi-fi / cable / fully equipped kitchen / coffee or tea / bathroom with tub / DVD-player / Hi-fi with iPod docking system There's a folder with all kind of information, like places of interest, location of shops in the neighbourhood, cool spots in the city, etc. On arrival we're glad to show you around our place and tell you about the city.... more info >>

Description:The house is a restored contemporary designed historic house located in one of the prettiest parts of the old center right in front of the baroque St-Anne's church on a cobblestone square. It's an easy 5-10 minute walk along the beautiful canals to most of the city's highlights. There are also a couple of nice museums just around the corner. The area is really quiet but supersafe. There are a couple of good upscale restaurants and bars nearby and a quaint bistro on the square itself. Self-catering is no problem either as there is a supermarket really close as well as some delicious bakeries, etc... There is free (limited time -blue disc) parking right in front of the door. The house itself has 3 floors (no elevator). The ground floor has a large living room with open annexed dining room and kitchen. The upper floors each have a bathroom (one with a jacuzzi, the other with a shower) and bedrooms. There's no large garden but a pretty bamboo lined terrace with a table some sunloungers in case the weather would allow for sunbathing. Some of the amenities: WIFI, cable TV, guest computer, radio, dishwasher, laundromat, stove oven, microwave, fridge/freezer and pretty much everything you might need in the kitchen. As I usually live in the house there will be basic food products too. You can use it but be fair and replenish the products you used.
