On Erzsebet Korut a main street, turning right from the supermarket , just a few blocks beyond the synagogue, there is an outstanding example of art deco, in what has been called The New Yorker Cafe. it's still in business to go in, for tea (and great pastries) or lunch...the interior is amazing, my favourite place to have breakfast..Just Love it! If you take tram 4,6 towards Petofi hid, take 2 stops, take off at Baross utca you will find a really good reastaurant, not turistic where I always go when I am in Budapest, name: Stex, highly recommended. Other one, if you take tram 4,6 two stops towards Margit hid, take off at stop Kiraly utca, left side of the boulevard on Kiraly utca you will find Frici Papa vendegloje it's a little very very simple restaurant, but with extremely good food! You will see, it's always full! To go to Ferenciek tere, Vaci utca, take the bus 7 from the front of the apartment, right next to the supermarket Match, for three stops!. To the Oktogon square you take the 4,6 tram for 3 stops and you are there, find the Andrassy street, on the left side you will find the Opera and Moulin Rouge, on the right side if you walk down the street you will find the Terror house, and at the and the Heroes Square, maybe for the that one, is better to take the metro 1 foldalatti for few stops. If you want to go to the Parliament you can go by metro red line from the apartment and take off at Kossuth ter. (in 5-6 minutes you are there), after looking the parliament, you can take the tram 2 (panoramic tram ) and go till the Nemzeti szinhaz- National Theatre - amazing! Description:nOur lovely Chain Bridge Apartment is available for vacation and longer-term rentals. The one-bedroom apartment is located in central Buda, just steps from the Castle, the Danube, the Chain Bridge, and within a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Just a short walk over the bridge will bring you to central Pest. It's one of the citye28099s oldest and most atmospheric neighborhoods, with narrow staircases leading up to the Castle and numerous restaurants and cafc3a9s. The building is well-served by public transportation, but you may find that you'd just prefer to walk everywhere! There are playgrounds in the neighborhood to entertain the children, and plenty of pubs to occupy the adults. nLocated in a classic early-20th-century building, the apartment overlooks one of the buildinge28099s two courtyards, making it secluded and quiet. With original hardwood floors, doors, windows and elegant high ceilings, staying here will make you feel like a local. It has recently been renovated (though the old features that make it so charming have been kept intact), and is newly furnished. The sunny 53-square-meter apartment sleeps two in the bedroom, and an additional two on the foldout couch in the spacious living room.? A portable crib can be provided on request. nTake advantage of Budapest's wonderful food markets by picking up fresh local ingredients and bringing them back to your own kitchen to try your hand at preparing the local cuisine. The eat-in kitchen is well-equipped with a full-sized oven, stove, and refrigerator, a microwave, coffee maker, and toaster, and plenty of dishes and utensils. If there are any special cooking utensils you might need, we can supply them from our own collection. nThe apartment also includes free wireless Internet, free use of a Hungarian mobile phone (for receiving calls and making local calls), a washing machine, a flat-screen television with cable and DVD player, a stereo with an ipod connector, a small DVD/CD/Budapest guidebook selection, a full bathroom with claw-foot tub and hairdryer, plenty of linens and towels, and an iron and board.
