This 2-bedroom beautiful penthouse is situated on the Buda side, in the first and oldest district of Budapest, literally right behind Buda Castle. The historic Chain Bridge and the Buda tunnel are about 15 minutes away either by walk or public transport, while the Castle area (including the Fishermen’s Wharf, medieval streets with shops and restaurants, views at the Parliament etc.) is obviously within a couple of minutes walking distance. Gellert Spa, an institution on its own, is a quick three stops away by tram.The largest intersection of the subway lines in Pest (Deak Square) is only a 10-15 minute bus ride from our apartment.The apartment comes with two bedrooms, one with a king size bed and the other with a convertible sofa. The apartment also comes with a huge and spacious living room with excellent views of Buda. One of the bedrooms has a private bathroom, there are a total of two bathrooms and a toilet in the apartment. SUGGESTIONS FROM MAGDALENA: Next to the apartment at the corner of Rakoczi ut and Erzsebet korut you will find a big supermarket, Match. Downstairs at the metro station there is a non-stop buffet as well,If it comes in your mind during the night to buy something to drink, or cigarettes or anything. On Erzsebet Korut a main street, turning right from the supermarket , just a few blocks beyond the synagogue, there is an outstanding example of art deco, in what has been called The New Yorker Cafe. it's still in business to go in, for tea (and great pastries) or lunch...the interior is amazing, my favourite place to have breakfast..Just Love it! If you take tram 4,6 towards Petofi hid, take 2 stops, take off at Baross utca you will find a really good reastaurant, not turistic where I always go when I am in Budapest, name: Stex, highly recommended. Other one, if you take tram 4,6 two stops towards Margit hid, take off at stop Kiraly utca, left side of the boulevard on Kiraly utca you will find Frici Papa vendegloje it's a little very very simple restaurant, but with extremely good food! You will see, it's always full! To go to Ferenciek tere, Vaci utca, take the bus 7 from the front of the apartment, right next to the supermarket Match, for three stops!. To the Oktogon square you take the 4,6 tram for 3 stops and you are there, find the Andrassy street, on the left side you will find the Opera and Moulin Rouge, on the right side if you walk down the street you will find the Terror house, and at the and the Heroes Square, maybe for the that one, is better to take the metro 1 foldalatti for few stops. If you want to go to the Parliament you can go by metro red line from the apartment and take off at Kossuth ter.
