Description:Experience the tranquility! n nOur Canada Select Four Star cottage is nestled in a secluded valley at the end of Doyle 's Road, just 2 km from the Cabot Trail and the Hamlet of Margaree Forks, The OLD MILLER GUEST HOUSE is an excellent location for exploring beautiful Cape Breton Island, Nova Scotia or serving as a base for travelers to get lost in the Margarees. n nThere are two bedrooms in the cottage, one with a queen sized bed, the other with twin beds and a double futon, (this room can sleep four). Each bedroom has a private 4 piece bath. The kitchen is fully equipped including a dishwasher, toaster oven, BBQ etc. n nIn the large sitting room/lounge area Satellite TV and high speed wireless connectivity is available. n nNormally we rent the entire unit, it can easily handle up to 6. However, when we have availability we do rent the bedrooms separately and the kitchen and lounge area are shared. There IS plenty of room. n nA working trout farm, there is an U- Fish on property and Speckled or Rainbow trout may be caught. The Margaree is world famous for Salmon fishing, (fly fishing only in summer!), however trout abound and many choose to try their luck on the Brookies. n nGuides are not required but suggested and can be arranged. n nPrevious to this incarnation, for 16 years we ran this property as a four star, Canada Select B&B and your hosts are very familiar with the area with knowledge of things to do, what to see, restaurants, dances etc. n nMusic, particularly Celtic style music, is very much a part of Cape Breton culture and, during the summer, there is never a day without a Ceilidh, dance or concert somewhere in the area.
