This excellent position lets you to stay in a fresh spacious house in a Natural Park, and get to Rome in minutes by metro or the ample quick freeways: the closest metro stop, served by straight bus, is only 2.5 miles from the villa, whereas you can go to Rome by car in around 20 minutes. And to get to the busy downtown Rome is not inconvenient: the quick and straightforward freeways will bring you to the Palatine or the Colosseum in around 35 minutes, without having to worry about car admission and parking. The location is perfect for day trips to the ancient Etrusche towns and famous destinations such as Pisa, Siena, Florence and Rome. The Airport of Fiumicino (Rome) is one hour by car. The railway station is five minutes walking distance. The place is perfect both for children and aged people. The most important shops (bakery, grocery etc.) are two minutes walking distance. Orbetello centre is 10 min biking distance through a scenery bike path. You may reach a nice sandy beach through a bike lane, 6 km long beside the lagoon. By car or by bus you may explore many more beaches and rocky shores. from porto Santo Stefano you may take a day trip to the islands of Giannutri and Giglio. From the terrace that runs all along the front of this cottage, while having a drink or even breakfast, one is able to spot wild boars dears porcupines and much more. Ideal retreat for romantics and nature lovers. Sandy beaches are only 14 km away, the closest shopping for food is in the small village of Marsiliana only 4 km away. Having a car is highly necessary here.
