The characteristic ceiling of wood beams, the quiet of Roma's alleys, and the welcoming atmosphere of the house make it a romantic place for an original and very peaceful holiday. The apartment is composed of two large rooms, kitchen and bathroom. The apartment has been recently renewed. Pictures show a cosy and pleasant place. In the bathroom the sink is built in a marble surface, there is a comfortable shower. The lodging can accommodate a maximum of five persons with two comfortable sofa beds (one doble and one single) in the lounge, together with a double bed (queen size) placed in a good sized bedroom. It is possible to prepare a single roll away bed for a 6th person.The apartment is fully furnished, including a fitted kitchen. There are also air conditioning, satellite TV set and CD stereo. The accommodation allows the exclusive use of all the apartment. Another five people can be accommodated in the apartment AP26, next door (on the same landing). We will give tourist maps of the town and all the suggestions for a pleasant journey in Roma. The area is safe and there is a portiere keeping an eye on things. The owners of this unit live on the same floor and are willing to share the services of their maid with the guests at the hourly rate. L'Ambasciatore is on second floor, there is an elevator and a central heating, available during the winter and not included in the rental. It is elegantly furnished with antique pieces and very sunny. Precious Persian carpets and nice tapestry give a refined touch to the apartment. The entrance is on a wide hall with a large wall cupboard that brings on a spacious living room with a sofa bed and TV. The apartment is perfectly positioned for visiting the city centre and is within a short walking distance of Piazza Navona, Campo de Fiori, the Vatican and Castel Sant’Angelo, the Pantheon and the Spanish Steps. The apartment is located on the fourth floor (no lift) of an elegant 17th century building which once served as a trading station for goods from the surrounding countryside. A single sofa bed is also available in the living room. If necessary a folding bed can be added to any of the rooms, bringing the total number of beds available to twelve. There are two bathrooms with shower, both decorated with ceramic tiles and wooden fittings. The heart of the apartment is the kitchen, which is furnished with antique fittings, has a large copper sink and is decorated with Mediterranean style tiles.
