Description:The room is big and bright. It lies at the middle of 'Vesterbro' the live alive center of the city, the Soho of Copenhagen. 10 minutes walk from the Central Station. So it is easy to find if you arrive by train from the airport. There is a fifteen minutes walk to Tivoli and five minutes more to the City Hall Square Check my guidebook about the coolest, nicest places of my neighbourhood, Vesterbro, you can get to most places described on foot in 10 20 minutes. In the last couple of years Vesterbro is known for its cool cafes, funky clubs and multicultural restaurants. Lots of small individual designer shops are very popular in the area, which has a high concentrate of hipsters who love living in this casually funky, relaxed area. Vesterbro is known for being the place where 'whores and pickpockets' in the past lived there. Now the area is better known for a vibrant city life and a fusion of past history and population and young people with creative ideas and alternative lifestyles. The apartment has a kitchen and a very small but clean bathroom from 2008, where you have free and unrestricted access. Of course there is also wireless internet available. The apartment is on the first floor and there´s no elevator. Lovely new, comfortable medium hard latex mattress and bright room. The mattress is 160x 200 cm. There are 2 separate covers/duvets. There´s also offered an extra mattress 90x200 cm if requested. I do always provide good clean towels, linen, duvets and good pillows for your stay. House manual: * Please note that the apartment is always shared with the landlord and other guests. * No smoking indoor. * You can come and go as you want to. * Please take of your shoes when entering the corridor. * Inside the apartment it must be quiet at night from 22 07.30 / 10pm 7.30am * Please lock your door when your not in the apartment. * Please leave the kitchen and bathroom in a fair condition after use. * And most important, it's a friendly place to stay :) The living room can be used after agreement with the landlord. Description:Bright and charming little apartment on top floor. My apartment is small but extremely cosy and charming. It is right at the lovely area Vesterbro with lots of cafées and little shops. Only a 10 minute bike ride from the center. Its on the 5.th floor, so if you have trouble with your health or legs it might be a bit of a climb. I recommend my apartment for one or two travelers. There are beds enough for four people but it will feel crowded if you are more than two, unless you know each other really well. Or if you are traveling with children - they will love climbing the ladder and sleeping at the cosy loft. The living room has a sofa, tv, dvd and a daybed that turns into a doublebed. There's a ladder in the living room that takes you right under the roof where there is a matress big enough for two. There is a roof window where you can fall a sleep while looking at the stars. Cosy and romantic. The kitchen has a beautiful light and a cute little nook with high chairs where you can enjoy the view over the green court yard. In the kitchen there is also a dining table with four chairs and of course fridge, microwave, stove and your usual kitchen stuff. I am student at The Royal Danish Academy of Fine Arts here in Copenhagen and your staying here, will help me get through school. Description:Beautiful small apartment, around 50m2 with two French balconies. The ultimate location in the absolute centre of Copenhagen facing the pedestrian shopping street Strøget. The apartment is situated on the top floor in a 200 year old town house. Walking distance to the subway is 5 min subway transport to airport 12 min. Almost all sights in Copenhagen are within walking distance – the rest can be reached by one of the many free city bikes. The apartment consists of two rooms, a combined sitting-room and kitchen – equipped with cable-TV, WIFI and everything you need to cook meals - and one bedroom with a double bed. Both rooms have a French balcony facing the pedestrian street which is full of cosy cafés and great shops. As is typical for this several hundred years old building the bathroom is small but functional with shower facilities. Iron, iron-board and hairdryer are available. Since the apartment is situated in a pedestrian street, there is no traffic noise. Walk down the stairs and you are in the middle of the throbbing life and cosiness of Copenhagen – a mere 30 sec. from the canal and 2 min. from Nyhavn, the historic city harbour. There are several parks within 5 min. walking distance, where you are free to enjoy life with the rest of the citizens of Copenhagen, have your breakfast on the lawn or picnic with friends. On your way, you will pass the famous freetown Christiania (where people don't pay taxes or rent and have their own society in the middle of the city!) the famous bakery Lagkagehuset (You've got to try their danish pastries!!) and you get to pass over the bridge Knippelsbro, from where you can see beautiful attractions like The Royal Library The Diamond and The Royal Opera. You will pass Christianshavn, which is one of the most idyllic places in Copenhagen. Here you can see young Copenhageners sitting on the docks while boats full of tourists trying to catch a glimpse of the magnificent tower of Our Saviors Church pass by. Wether you want to eat at great restaurants (our favourites include Magstræde 16, which has magnificent pizzas and Madklubben where you can get a mouthwathering 3-course dinner on the cheap) or you want to go to the local Market Torvehallerne at Nørrreport station and buy ingrediens for some Copenhagen cooking in the appartement, you will find, that this is the central stay, that will fullfill your needs. My cosy apartment has a livingroom with wooden floor and stuccoed ceiling and a bedroom with a large balcony where you can enjoy your breakfast in the sun. The kitchen is fully equipped with gas stove, oven, microwave, and dishwasher and there's a tiny but functional Copenhagen-style bathroom with shower. A bus that will take you to the city centre in less than 15 minutes stops right in front of the building, and Nørrebro S-train station is just around the corner. But you can also just stroll down bustling Nørrebrogade to get to the beautiful central lakes and downtown. All kinds of supermarkets and small grocery shops can be found within a 5-minute walking distance from the apartment. Nørrebro is one of the liveliest neighborhoods in Copenhagen and you'll find a vast selection of cafés and bars, all kinds of shops, and every type of eatery from shawarma shop to hip Danish cuisine. At night time you can crab a beer and listen to indie music. Description:A small but great apartment in the middle of Nørrebro, Copenhagen. It's in walking distance from everything in Copenhagen. It's ideal for one person, but you can easily fit 2 people in it. The apartment windows turns towards the garden, and there is nice and quiet, without any noise from the street. Location: The apartment is only 300m. from The Lakes in Copenhagen, and you can easily walk to everything in the site in the center of Copenhagen. There is public transportation right outside the door, Bus 3A, 5A, 350S and 500m. to Forum Metro Station, if you don't like walking. There is also a nice park, Folkets Park, right next to the apartment. Apartment: One big room with a french balcony and a 37 TV and a small kitchen in the corner witch contains everything you need to get by - sink, multioven, hotplates, fridge, freezer, Senseo coffeemaschine etc. There is a bed, 120x200, a pretty big sofa with chaiselong, sofatable, stereo with mini-jack and a work table and 5 chairs in total. Big bathroom with separate bath, toilet and sink. There is also a small hallway for closes and shoes. The apartment has high speed internet and cable TV available. In the Area: Stengade: Stengade is a user-controlled house, where volunteers are at the forefront of events. There is a lot of music during the week, and always something going on. Nørrebro Theater: A modern theater on Nørrebro with a beautiful old stage, and focus on making theater for the younger generations. Oak Room: One of Copenhagens finest cocktail bars, but still affordable for students. A good place to go between dinner and a night out. Kates Joint: One of the places you have to eat during your stay. A meal is about 15€, and the food and atmosphere is awesome. RUST: Since birth in 1989 the club has been at the forefront of Copenhagen nightlife, presenting a vital live music and clubbing scene for those who prefer their night out a bit off the mainstream. With a total capacity of 670 people on three floors the house has an easy-going atmosphere. Rust is open Wednesdays-Saturdays from 21.00 - 05.00. Soupanatural: Provides you with a great selection of soups, and everything on the menu card is a 100% organic.
