Description:I have a 2 bedroom maisonette flat on the 7th Floor ( lift available), which could be rented as a whole or as individual rooms as required. Both rooms are double rooms, however one room has a sewing machine in it, but plenty of room available. Main bedroom has a double bed, and the seocnd bedroom has a double bunk futon bed, with a single at the top. Please be aware if you rent a room only, there may be other guests in the property. East & West Croydon are about a 15 minute walk form the maisonette. Gatwick Airoport is approx 20 mins by train to East croydon. Perfect if you arrrive at Gatwick. Central London is also about 15-20 mins from East Croydon. It is situated close to shops, malls, restaurants, bars and clubs. Children's activities, parks and Fairfield Halls all within walking distance. Maisonette is clean, modern and equipped to a high standard. TV's in the lounge and in both bedrooms. Wi-fi included. We are located in the leafy neighbourhood of Crystal Palace in South London. We are a 10 minute walk from two train stations (Gipsy Hill and Crystal Palace), which take you into central London in 20 minutes. Crystal Palace station is also on the East London Line, so you can explore the trendy East End with ease. Crystal Palace itself has a village-like feel to it, with plenty of independent cafés, restaurants and bars, as well as a number of antique shops, boutiques and quirky markets to wander around. It’s steeped in history, as it used to be home to The Great Exhibition, so the park is fun to explore, especially with kids. We are also a bus-ride from Brixton, a buzzing, multicultural hub of markets and trendy bars, and one of the best cinemas in London. We will leave you some recommendations of our favourite places and local secrets. Description:My flat is a contemporary interior designed traditional Victorian two up two down duplex terrace right in the heart of Croydon, South London. It is right off 2 bustling High Streets with loads of local convenience shops, takeaway restaurants and supermarkets and about 8 minutes walk from West Croydon train station with direct links to Victoria and the rest of Central London. East Croydon station is a short bus ride away with loads of fast trains (15 mins or less) into the City and the West End. It is also a short 8 minute walk to the Croydon town centre and the famous Whitgift Shopping Centre with it's variety of shops, banks, restaurants and 2 Vue cinemas The flat is stylishly furnished and contains all the modern facilities that will make your stay pleasurable and feel like a home away from home. Downstairs it's got a small but fully kitted out living room with a great quality Italian red leather sofa and a white barker lounger that is so comfortable you will never want to get up from it! Nice mood lighting and a beautiful functional electric fireplace creates the perfect setting for a cozy evening at home to relax after a day of shopping and sightseeing. It's equipped with a wall mounted 42in plasma TV with full cable package (Sky), a CD player, a dvd player, a bluray player as well as an ipod dock, so all your entertainment needs are well catered for. Help yourself to my modest but interesting collection of DVDs if you didn't bring your own, but just be sure to remember to leave the DVDs behind! Downstairs you also have a 6 seater dining suite with comfortable leather dining chairs and glass dining table. There is also a computer workstation in this room where you can connect to the internet, or if you have your own laptop, you can connect for free to my Wifi internet anywhere in the house or in the small garden at the back. The dining room overlooks the good sized kitchen with fridge freezer and other white goods (washing machine is in the laundry room just outside the kitchen) Upstairs you have the master bedroom which sleeps 2 people, and down the landing is an additional smaller double bedroom with double bed which will comfortably sleep a further two guests. Description:I have a one bedroom apartment with a seperate kitchen and lounge. I live in walking distance to a train station, tram station and local bus station. The train station is 24hours as are some of the buses. By train it's not more than 15 minutes into central London, 25 minutes to Wimbledon by tram and local buses all over London. Plus you can get to any airport from my place, Gatwick, Luton & Stanstead by train, Heathrow by bus (direct, no changes up to 70-80 mins) and Victoria Coach Station is only 15 minutes by train. There is wifi, hot water and radiators (if you are visiting during winter time). There is a lumpy sofa and a sofabed in the lounge for extra people if you need the space or travelling in a larger group. Basically apart from a couple using the main bedroom you can have up to 2 people using the lounge at a push you can add 1 more on the lumpy sofa. It's 1-5 minutes from 4 supermarkets, small shopping district and 10 minutes walk from the main town centre. I don't smoke but if you need to smoke, the kitchen is always available with the windows open for all you smokers out there. You are welcome to read my books, watch my dvds and use my laptop but please take care of my home just as you would take care of your home. Please note that this is my home with all my stuff still there, my clothes are in the wardrobes and drawers, my food is in the fridge and larder, it is lived in...it is not a hotel and I don't advertise it to be one. The place will be clean when you arrive but my washing will still probably be in the washing basket and my abpro exercise machine will be in the lounge or bedroom which you are welcome to use or move around for more space. You will probably find a more elegant and swish place elsewhere who have professional cleaners etc if you want. I am being extra honest here as I don't want you guys to expect a hotel type establishment when you arrive.
