Description:A comfortable and quaint two-bedroomed town cottage, in one of the most stunning areas of natural beauty in the UK. There are two double bedrooms, one with a real double bed, the other set up as an office with double sofabed. There is also a sofabed in the lounge. With simple, attractive furnishing throughout, you'll find everything you need for a great stay: a clean, well equipped kitchen a big bathroom a large dining room with open Victorian fireplace comfortable lounge with fireplace, TV, and DVD. You will have wifi access. The Seaside neighbourhood of Eastbourne has convenient supermarkets, shops, pubs, and fish and chips! The house is a five minute stroll (through a park with a lake) from the sea, and just a 10 minute bus ride from the town centre. The bus stops right outside. Eastbourne is an attractive, seaside town with a Victorian pier, High Street shops and independent retailers and cafes. We have an international tennis tournament in early summer, while the autumn brings a beer festival, and you can see stand-up comedy and a range of shows at local venues. Take a walk along the spectacular, rolling cliffs and South Downs, followed by a visit to a country pub. Or why not borrow my kayak and go for a paddle! For art and design buffs, see Towner - Eastbourne's own award-winning gallery, affiliated with London's Tate. There's also the modernist icon, De La Warr Pavillion, just 11 miles away. And Brighton - with its amazing Georgian Pavillion, narrow lanes and trendy, hippie shops - is only 20 miles along the coast. Literature lovers can visit Virginia Woolf or Rudyard Kipling's homes nearby. For small children, as well as the beach, there are plenty of small, fun playparks - indoor and out. Gatwick is only 45 minutes away by train. What's more, London is easily accessible by car or train (1 and a half hours), making an evening in a West End theatre a real possibility. Most of the capital's museums and galleries are now free. But who needs that when Eastbourne has 3 theatres of its own?! For those who want to venture further afield during their trip, London and Ashford nearby offer a gateway to Paris and Europe. Hop on the Eurostar train and be in Paris in 3 hours! The property has a gated entrance and occupies a favoured position in the heart of Motcombe Village, just a short walk from the famous Lamb Inn with its genuine atmosphere, oak beams and Olde Worlde charm. If you are a fan of real ales or have always wanted to try them then this is the place to visit, built in 1180 it is thought to be one of the oldest buildings in the town alongside the neighbouring St Mary's Church. n nThe property is arranged over three floors. It can accommodate 4 - 6 people and children are very welcome. On the ground floor is a well fitted modern kitchen with an electric oven and gas, dishwasher and coffeemaker (all newly installed for the 2011 season) microwave and fridge freezer, a dining/sitting room with sofa bed, television, table and chairs, a downstairs cloakroom with hand basin and WC and a utility room with separate washing machine, tumble dryer and sink, ironing board and iron. n nA short staircase to the first floor leads to the living room with Victorian Fireplace, with a comfortable leather sofa and armchairs for you to relax, a flat screen TV with freesat channels and DVD. The twin bedroom has double aspect windows and lovely comfortable beds to welcome you after a busy day. n nThe top floor is dedicated to the master suite with luxurious king size bed, dressing table and ample wardrobe space. This room offers stunning views of Motcombe Village and has an en-suite bathroom, with bath, wall cabinet with shaver point and light, hand basin and WC. Description:Admiral Cottage is stylish, luxury Victorian Cottage and is situated in the delightful village of Meads, on the outskirts of Eastbourne just a few hundred yards from the seafront. It comprises of a living room with through dining room, kitchen and a luxury bathroom with roll top bath and separate shower. There are two bedrooms, one double, one twin and a sofa bed in the living room. The living room has a digital flat screen TV with DVD and CD players. The cottage can accommodate up to six people. Outside is a superb courtyard garden which is ideal for al fresco breakfasts, lunches or BBQs. The courtyard can be accessed from the dining room onto a decked area for after dinner drinks or from double doors leading from the kitchen.
