Description:Room nr 1 is a 30m2 fully furnished flat with complete kitchen and funky interior to make you feel that strange but alluring Finnish vibe. It s located on the main boulevard of Kallio (Helsinginkatu 12), surrounded by the most vivid bar scene, alternative shops and ethnic restaurants in Helsinki. The tram stops at the hotel, and runs directly to the city and back. Room nr 1 is perfect if you are looking for something different to those seen one seen all downtown hotels, or if you wish to live like a local in a home like environment with the freedom and space. Room nr 1 is perfect for 1 2 persons. We got a double or a twin bed. If there are three of you, and someone is comfortable sleeping on the couch, just let us know and we will arrange an extra set of bed linen. We got a complete kitchen with stove, fridge and all kitchen utensils. And pretty much everything else you'll need from towels to TV, from WiFi to basic breakfast supplies and probably the tiniest toilet in the world. The longer you stay, the more discount you'll get. You can easily walk to the center (it takes about 10 min) or you can take subway, bus or tram. All services are nearby market, shops, subway, bus, bars, clubs and restaurants. The apartment is 25 square metres large and includes everything that you need for your visit. There is a small kitchen, bathroom and a loft where the bed is. Description:This apartment is located only 5 minutes walk from the center of the city. The Helsinki Central Railway station is only a 10 minute walk away, so when arriving from the airport by bys or train it will not take you long to check in. The apartment is located in the Kruununhaka district, and it is a great place when exploring Helsinki. Kruununhaka is one of the oldest disctricts in Helsinki, so it is full of beautiful old buildings to discover if you're into architecture. CHECK-IN / BOOKING - when making a reservation or inquiry, if possible please include details about when you want to check in and out. APARTMENT - You rent the entire apartment which is a compact 20 sqm apartment with a kitchenette and a bathroom. Windows are towards the inner yard, so it is also a very peaceful and safe location. SLEEPING small bed (90cm / 36) bed linen provided for 2 1 extra mattress provided (80cm / 32) COOKING - There is a separate kitchenette Stove with 4 hobs and oven Coffee maker Microwave oven All basic dinner and cook ware Dining table suitable for 2 BATHROOM Shower Washing machine Towels TRANSPORTATION The closest subway station is Kaisaniemi (5 minute walk) Trams 1A/B and 7A/B have stops 200 metres away Kamppi bus terminal is 1km away Central railway station 10 minute walk (500m) INTERNET & ENTERTAINMENT Fast wireless internet connection provided to use with your own devices iMac with a guest account free to use for guests 42 TV PARKING There is free parking lot very close to the apartment, and usually you can always find a place to park your car there. The area is on the road to island Tervasaari, and its only 200 metres away from the apartment. This is good because you have to pay for all the parking places in the streets of Helsinki, with with few exceptions like the space near my apartment. The Kruununhaka district has a number of cosy small shops and restaurants. Most popular tourist sights of Helsinki are within a walking distance. The apartment building was built in 1939, and is well maintained. It has a small inner yard where you can also hang out if you wish. As mentioned, bed is 90 cm wide, so a couple might be able to sleep in it together. If you're not a couple, or if you prefer a little more space while sleeping, there is an extra mattress (80cm wide) that can be used for sleeping on the floor. Clean sheets and towels are always provided for 2 guests. As mentioned in the listing, more than 2 people are welcome, I don't limit the amount of guests but it might get a little crowded with 2 persons. On the other hand, if you use the apartment strictly for sleeping & showers, even 4 persons will fit in. For that, you will need to bring your own sleeping bags and towels, as I'm only able to provide sheets/pillows/towels for 2. Go ahead and ask more if you are a bigger group! The kitchen is fully equipped, so cooking yourself is an option as well. To sum it up: If you prefer a compact, centrally located flat in a safe and peaceful neighbourhood in Helsinki... this is it!
