Description:This apartment is located only 5 minutes walk from the center of the city. The Helsinki Central Railway station is only a 10 minute walk away, so when arriving from the airport by bys or train it will not take you long to check in. The apartment is located in the Kruununhaka district, and it is a great place when exploring Helsinki. Kruununhaka is one of the oldest disctricts in Helsinki, so it is full of beautiful old buildings to discover if you're into architecture. CHECK-IN / BOOKING - when making a reservation or inquiry, if possible please include details about when you want to check in and out. APARTMENT - You rent the entire apartment which is a compact 20 sqm apartment with a kitchenette and a bathroom. Windows are towards the inner yard, so it is also a very peaceful and safe location. The area is on the road to island Tervasaari, and its only 200 metres away from the apartment. This is good because you have to pay for all the parking places in the streets of Helsinki, with with few exceptions like the space near my apartment. The Kruununhaka district has a number of cosy small shops and restaurants. Most popular tourist sights of Helsinki are within a walking distance. The apartment building was built in 1939, and is well maintained. It has a small inner yard where you can also hang out if you wish. As mentioned, bed is 90 cm wide, so a couple might be able to sleep in it together. If you're not a couple, or if you prefer a little more space while sleeping, there is an extra mattress (80cm wide) that can be used for sleeping on the floor. Clean sheets and towels are always provided for 2 guests. As mentioned in the listing, more than 2 people are welcome, I don't limit the amount of guests but it might get a little crowded with 2 persons. On the other hand, if you use the apartment strictly for sleeping & showers, even 4 persons will fit in. For that, you will need to bring your own sleeping bags and towels, as I'm only able to provide sheets/pillows/towels for 2. Go ahead and ask more if you are a bigger group! The kitchen is fully equipped, so cooking yourself is an option as well. To sum it up: If you prefer a compact, centrally located flat in a safe and peaceful neighbourhood in Helsinki... this is it! My small flat on the small island Lauttasaari in Helsinki will be available for around two weeks when I will be abroad. Dates are around 23.5. to 10.6. and quite flexible, so you tell me when you would want to stay there and is it 1 week, 2 weeks or for the whole period (around 17 nights max). It is an approx 25m2 apartment on the third floor with elevator. One room, a small kitchen, and bathroom with shower, toilet and washing machine. Kitchen is equipped with all the basics you need for cooking as well microwave, kitchen blender, coffeemaker etc. In the room there is a 140 cm double bed and table for two. Big windows and a very light apartment with parquet flooring and white walls. 10mb WLAN is included, unfortunately no TV. The sand beach is located 500 m from the house, a popular spot for kiteboarders and with beach café etc. This area of Helsinki is truly beautiful that time of the year! I can leave a bicycle that you are free to use to explore the city. Close to everything - grocery shops, ATM, bus stops, restaurants, bars and everything are all within a short walking distance. Takes less than 10 minutes with bus to Helsinki center (Kamppi) and you have several connections to choose from. Parking is free on the streets outside the house, no private parking. I have a small dog living with me in the apartment, so probably not the best possible if you are allergic. You are however welcome to bring your small dog with you if you happen to have one. Description:46 sq meters cozy apartment in 1911 building in the old and historical Kruununhaka neighborhood right in the city centre and close to all the main attractions. The apt has high ceilings and a unique atmosphere of an old building. The Helsinki Central Railway station, tram/bus stops, ferry terminals for ferries going to Stockholm, Tallinn and Suomenlinna fortress are within walking distance from the apt. Trams 1A/B and 7A/B run nearby, tram stop is about 100 meters from the apartment. The Kaisaniemi metro station and the main building of Helsinki University are within 400 meters from the apartment. Also within walking distance is some of the most interesting historical buildings and a market square that the city has to offer. The apartment is located in the Kruununhaka district, and it is a great base while exploring Helsinki by foot. Kruununhaka is one of the oldest districts in Helsinki, so it is full of beautiful old buildings and atmosphere with modern twist. Kruununhaka has a number of lively small shops, coffee shops and restaurants as well as an excellent organic/health food store. There are several interesting dining options close to the apt like traditional Russian restaurant, modern Finnish cuisine (Kuurna), a Michelin-star restaurant (Luomo) and German as well as Thai restaurant. Besides organic food store there are 2 normal crocery stores nearby as well as a bakery and city's only Korean restaurant. There is even one Itaian restaurant in the same building complex as the apt. The apartment is fully furnished and located at street level in quiet residential area. The apartment has a large bedroom with a double futon (200x140cm) and a futon sofa that can accommodate 2 more people. In additionally, the bedroom has a big bookshelf and 2 chairs. There is possibility to sleep in a light bed in kitchen as well. Please tell beforehand if you need it so we can provide it. The kitchen has a big dining table with 4 chairs, a commode and a long soft seat by the window. Clean sheets and towels are always provided for 2 guests.
