Description:Room nr 1 is a 30m2 fully furnished flat with complete kitchen and funky interior to make you feel that strange but alluring Finnish vibe. It s located on the main boulevard of Kallio (Helsinginkatu 12), surrounded by the most vivid bar scene, alternative shops and ethnic restaurants in Helsinki. The tram stops at the hotel, and runs directly to the city and back. Room nr 1 is perfect if you are looking for something different to those seen one seen all downtown hotels, or if you wish to live like a local in a home like environment with the freedom and space. Room nr 1 is perfect for 1 2 persons. We got a double or a twin bed. If there are three of you, and someone is comfortable sleeping on the couch, just let us know and we will arrange an extra set of bed linen. We got a complete kitchen with stove, fridge and all kitchen utensils. Description:This apartment is located only 5 minutes walk from the center of the city. The Helsinki Central Railway station is only a 10 minute walk away, so when arriving from the airport by bys or train it will not take you long to check in. The apartment is located in the Kruununhaka district, and it is a great place when exploring Helsinki. Kruununhaka is one of the oldest disctricts in Helsinki, so it is full of beautiful old buildings to discover if you're into architecture. CHECK-IN / BOOKING - when making a reservation or inquiry, if possible please include details about when you want to check in and out. APARTMENT - You rent the entire apartment which is a compact 20 sqm apartment with a kitchenette and a bathroom. Windows are towards the inner yard, so it is also a very peaceful and safe location. The area is on the road to island Tervasaari, and its only 200 metres away from the apartment. This is good because you have to pay for all the parking places in the streets of Helsinki, with with few exceptions like the space near my apartment. The Kruununhaka district has a number of cosy small shops and restaurants. Most popular tourist sights of Helsinki are within a walking distance. The apartment building was built in 1939, and is well maintained. It has a small inner yard where you can also hang out if you wish. As mentioned, bed is 90 cm wide, so a couple might be able to sleep in it together. If you're not a couple, or if you prefer a little more space while sleeping, there is an extra mattress (80cm wide) that can be used for sleeping on the floor. Clean sheets and towels are always provided for 2 guests. As mentioned in the listing, more than 2 people are welcome, I don't limit the amount of guests but it might get a little crowded with 2 persons. On the other hand, if you use the apartment strictly for sleeping & showers, even 4 persons will fit in. For that, you will need to bring your own sleeping bags and towels, as I'm only able to provide sheets/pillows/towels for 2. Go ahead and ask more if you are a bigger group! The kitchen is fully equipped, so cooking yourself is an option as well. To sum it up: If you prefer a compact, centrally located flat in a safe and peaceful neighbourhood in Helsinki... this is it! Description:This is my home which I am renting while I'm travelling. It is situated next to the beautiful Bear Park in the Kallio neighbourhood, which is the up-and-coming area of Helsinki. It is only a 20 minute walk from the central train station, but you can also take the tram (10 min nr. 3B) or metro (5 min to Hakaniemi stop). The apartment is fully furnished and it houses one person or a couple. If needed, an additional person can sleep on the floor. I'll require a 2 night minimum stay. The park around the Töölö Bay, the Swimming Stadium with heated water pools and the Linnanmaki amusement park, the oldest and the most popular amusement park, all are within a 10-15-minutes walk from the flat. Description:Location/Area: Although apartment located closer to bohemian east downtown (10 min walking max.), where you can find all the hip bars, shops and other places of interest. Also it is also quite easy to reach the city centre: the tram stop is just next to ten building and it takes on average 15 minutes by tram to reach the city centre/Central Railway Station. The name of the district is Alppila referring to the Alp mountains and it is located on a the top of the hill. So if you want to enjoy the view to the whole city, you can go amusement park which is not far from the house, and enjoy the ride on a Ferrys Wheel or Panoraama (this one is free of charge, by the way). The Alppipuisto (Alps Park) is just a 5-7 minutes walkling distance from the house, in a little valley. During the summer its a nice place for the picnic and hanging out at the little independent music festivals, which are the inevitable part of this area. Also while staying in the neighborhood you can enjoy historical wooden houses, really cool flea market Valtteri, some nice and less pricey then in the city centre traditional restaurants. Apartment: It's nice and cosy studio-apartment around 30 m2. It will suit perfectly for two people. But it can also accomodate three, since there are a double bad at the loft one sofa. I guess we should note that the bathroom is combined with shower and it is really compact (1-1.5 sq.m, please check the pciture), but clean and usable. Another thing to note - the loft is just above the kitchenette (again, please check the pictures). However, overall the studio is just lovely. We are sure you'll enjoy your stay here! It is within 5 minutes walking distance from the road Hatanpään valtatie, with buses going frequently to the centrum plus many other locations. The Tampere centrum is located approximately 2,5 kilometres from the flat, so I would call that walking distance too. The apartment has one bedroom, an open kitchen with the living room, bathroom with sauna and a balcony. There is a washing machine, dryer and a drying room in the bottom floor of the apartment building, which can be used free of charge after booking a time. Description:46 sq meters cozy apartment in 1911 building in the old and historical Kruununhaka neighborhood right in the city centre and close to all the main attractions. The apt has high ceilings and a unique atmosphere of an old building. The Helsinki Central Railway station, tram/bus stops, ferry terminals for ferries going to Stockholm, Tallinn and Suomenlinna fortress are within walking distance from the apt. Trams 1A/B and 7A/B run nearby, tram stop is about 100 meters from the apartment. The Kaisaniemi metro station and the main building of Helsinki University are within 400 meters from the apartment. Also within walking distance is some of the most interesting historical buildings and a market square that the city has to offer. The apartment is located in the Kruununhaka district, and it is a great base while exploring Helsinki by foot. Kruununhaka is one of the oldest districts in Helsinki, so it is full of beautiful old buildings and atmosphere with modern twist. Kruununhaka has a number of lively small shops, coffee shops and restaurants as well as an excellent organic/health food store. There are several interesting dining options close to the apt like traditional Russian restaurant, modern Finnish cuisine (Kuurna), a Michelin-star restaurant (Luomo) and German as well as Thai restaurant. Besides organic food store there are 2 normal crocery stores nearby as well as a bakery and city's only Korean restaurant. There is even one Itaian restaurant in the same building complex as the apt. The apartment is fully furnished and located at street level in quiet residential area. The apartment has a large bedroom with a double futon (200x140cm) and a futon sofa that can accommodate 2 more people. In additionally, the bedroom has a big bookshelf and 2 chairs. There is possibility to sleep in a light bed in kitchen as well. Please tell beforehand if you need it so we can provide it. Description:Our apartment has the most exciting location in the bohemian and hipster district of Kallio in Helsinki downtown. Excellent public transportation options: number 1, 3, 8 and 9 trams just around the corner and 200 metres to Hakaniemi metro station. With tram it takes 10-15 minutes to the city centrum. Grocery store 30 metres away (you can actually see it from the window), one of the most popular theaters in Helsinki (Ryhmäteatteri) on the other side of the road. All the bars and pubs in the lively Kallio close by. There are also many small parks surrounding our block and a gym / swimming hall / bowling alley on the other side of the road. The Linnanmäki amusement park is also within 200 metres of walk, and the Olympic Stadium is also very near. Our apartment (60m2) is renovated and decorated with style but also with an original touch. We have lots of art in the walls and there is also a small Ateljé in the magnificent bay window area. In the apartment there is 1 bedroom with a very good futon bed (real bed), full kitchen with stove, oven and dishwasher and all the equipment you might need (also fridge-freezer), a living room with large sofa (sleeps 2) and wide screen television ( dvd stereosoundsystem) and a bathroom with shower and a separate toilet. Lots of cupboard space and linen and towels included. The apartment is on the 4th floor and NO elevator. We have a dog. Just to let you know, if you have a bad allergy etc...
