Description:Nice apartment in Paris for sublet during Christmas holidays and January Down-town Paris and most touristic places are easily accessible with the subway or RER (from 15-20 minutes depending on your destination). 15 minutes walk from subway station Châteaux de Vincennes, our place is located in a beautiful, quiet neighborhood. Wonderful Bois de Vincennes is not far on foot. Our apartment is in a typical, well-maintained Parisian building (no elevator) The surface is 35 sqm (one living room with kitchen integrated plus a ensuite bedroom) It is fully furnished (double bed, couch, microwave, fridge, high-speed Internet, TV, etc.) It has a nice wooden floor and it's very cozy. It is a comfortable studio apartment in my stone cottage set in beautiful French countryside 600m from shop/cafe/bar, 7kms from Mortain and St Hillaire Du Harcouet 50140 with lots of French cafes and bars. Ideal for a couple with a double bed, new bathroom, kitchen living with fireplace and washing machine. Newly renovated with its own entrance and parking it has exposed stonework and original oak beams. The cottage was originally the toll house and is overlooking the fields of the Chateau with distant views to Mortain. Great location for exploring Normandy beaches and Bayeaux 1 hour, Mont St Michel 35kms away and St Malo - 1 hour drive, in the heart of the Normandy invasion area, 20mins to Avranches or the fortified town of Fougeres, 45 mins to Granville, 2 hours to Le Mans. It is 2.5 hours south west of Paris by fast train to Vire around 4 hours drive from Paris. Living in a quaint French rural village of 150 people and all major supermarkets and weekly street markets in nearby main towns. No stairs so it is elderly or handicapped friendly. Description:Spacious apartment with large living room, hearth, nice patio. Tastefully furnished. Ideal for familys with children. There are three separate bedrooms with six beds alltogether and a loft with an extra bed in the living room, where two children can sleep (it's a bit short for adults). Equipped kitchen with dishwasher, 4 hobs, washing machine. TV, Freebox, wifi, telephone are available. We have a very nice patio with lots of plants and flowers, where you can relax in a deck chair after sightseeing. The flat is located in a house containing three other apartments with nice neighbours and a restaurant (world kitchen). It is well connected to public transport: It takes you 15 minutes to go to the center of Paris (Chatelet Les Halles) from the urban railway station Val de Fontenay (10 minutes walk from us). Our station Val de Fontenay is located on the urban-railway-lines E and A, the A-line connects Paris to the Disneyland. We rent our apartment when we go on vacation and we let our two adorable cats, Capucina and Negrito. We are looking for travelers who like cats and feed them during our absence. Our house is in Fontenay sous Bois, sous bois means next to the Parisian forest Bois de Vincennes. We leave in an area with one-family-houses, next to it terrace-houses surroundet by public parcs, some high-risers, a shopping mall. At the other hand of our area, there is a shopping street, then the center of the old village, and then the elegant villa quarter at the edge of the forest. Fontenay is multicultural, there are 60 different nationalities, poor and rich people, and bobos. Bobo means Bourgeois-Bohème, somebody in between a bourgeois and a bohemian with artistic ambitions. By the way, lot's of artists live in Fontenay, we know it, because we run an alternative art and culture café, le lieu culturel La Milonga, next to the Restaurant La Milonga, which friends of us run. The way to the urban railway station Val de Fontenay (mostly through the public parcs I described above) takes you 10 minutes walking. If you don't feel like walking, there are 3 busses leaving next to our house which go to Val de Fontenay (118/122/301, they take 3 minutes to arrive at the station).
