Ghent is a small city with 297 bars, 50.000 students, an alive music scene with free concerts every day, good secondhand shopping, very relaxed natives and almost no cannibals. The city lies between Bruges and Brussels, and that's also what it feels like: you get a romantic setting with pretty medieval buildings (like Bruges) mixed up with a living nightlife (like Brussels). I'm moving out in June, so my flat will be mainly unfurnished. There will be a bed though, and a table to eat at with two chairs . The flat is completely yours during your stay. Description:This great but nonetheless no frills and thus reasonably priced studio is situated very near to the Coupure in Ghent, just a stone throw away from the historic city center, just a 10 min walk away! Supermarket, laundry and all you need is just down the stairs. Sunny terrace and breath taking view for long breakfasts or cosy warm nights and smoking (please no smoking inside...). GHENT Is the central place to be in Flanders region. It can be your homebase to visit the rest of the country. From Ghent you reach easily Bruges, Antwerp, Brussels, Paris, Amsterdam. Ghent itselves is one of the major historical cities of Belgium. FROM MY apartment you can visit all in a walk: the three towers, the cathedral, shopping, the castle, TOURIST nearby castle. Even all public transport is around. Apartment: There is a master bedroom with double bed, and a second bedroom with 2 single beds and a bunk bed. I still have a cot. I offer you my whole apartment shared with a furnished kitchen, living room, bathroom with bath, 2 sleeping rooms. My way of living makes that we just meet when it is necessary. Sheets, pillows, towels, shampoo are provided You can use kitchen, washer. There is water, coffee, thee and breakfast available, incl in the price. there is also a garage if necessary it is located under the appartment building and very safe, I can offer it for a small price. Description:I live in a cosy house (wood floor, fire place, grand piano, ...) just outside the city centre of Ghent (about a 8 min. walk). There is a bathroom with shower, a fully-equiped kitchen and living room/piano room/library. There is also a garden. Wireless internet is also available. The neighborhood is quite multi-cultural, which has a lot of advantages. Most important maybe is that there are a lot of cheap shops where you can buy food for next-to-nothing (bakeries, chicken stands, etc...) There is a big public transport hub (Rabot) at 300m, which connects to almost all important lines. Also, there is a tram/busstop at 150m from the house.
