Georgetown is an island, but you are connected by a few short bridges and will think you are on a glacial peninsula. nThe vacation rental is in the Five Islands section of Georgetown Maine and near quaint Five Islands Harbor and Wharf where you can enjoy Maine lobster, clams and hand made ice cream. Five Islands has been named one of the prettiest harbors in Maine and is just a few coves south of this perfect cove. This Maine vacation rental cottage provides the perfect setting to sit back and relax, but is close enough to do more if you choose. Historic Bath and the Maine Maritime Museum are just 20 minutes away and famous Freeport shopping (including LL Bean) is only about 40 minutes. nOur rustic coastal vacation rental has 3 bedrooms (sleeps 4 adults, 3 children, 1 bath, full kitchen, living room and eating area. It boasts two decks, dock, float, a grassy play area and 5.5 acres of woods. For the boater and water enthusiast there are 200 ' of frontage on the Little Sheepscot River (saltwater) and two moorings available for power or sail boats. There are currently two kayaks available for use at your own risk with this midcoast Maine vacation rental. nThis is a classic and old fashioned Maine midcoast experience with no television to distract you from the peace of the Maine cottage or camp, as Mainers call it, guest stay. Summer rentals are in keeping with the Maine and New England tradition and run Saturday to Saturday.
