Description:We have a good sized 1 bed apartment to rent in the centre of Shoreditch/Hoxton, one London's hippest areas. The bedroom is a large double and their is couch and inflatable/fold out beds available in the living room. There is space to have fold out beds etc in the bedroom is required. There is one bathroom with bath and shower and a fully fitted and equipped kitchen There is a small balcony with table and chairs which always gets the best of the sun. The location is great as we are moments from many of East London's coolest bars, restaurants and galleries (including the Tate Modern and the Barbican), and are also only a short bus, tube or (if you're feeling energetic) walk (about 25-30mins) into the west end of London. Included in the price is cable TV with movie channels, a DVD player and free Wifi. Description:We have the ultimate 'home away from home'. Built and restored by the owner, an architect, our one-bedroom ground floor maisonette has classic Victorian features such as high ceilings, timber floors and large sash windows. Our home is available to rent from the 25th December to the 20 January either over the whole duration or for short periods at a time. It's ideally sized for two sharing, but spacious enough for a group of four (sleeps two more on the futon). We'd probably be able to fit a fifth, though I don't think our French Chaise Lounge would lend anyone much rest. We live on beautiful Richmond road in Hackney, East London - the perfect location for travellers wanting to experience the heart beat of London's most vibrant suburb. Just removed from the razzle dazzle of Dalston's colourful night life, our road is unbelievably quiet and peaceful at night. You'll be grateful for the rest. There are almost too many things to see and do around Hackney/Shorditch/London at large. Some of the things you could be seeing within a five to 15 minute walk from our home (or the Moonbadger as it's affectionately known as): - London Fields Park and Lido - London's only outdoor heated Olympic sized swimming pool -Broadway food and vintage Market, great for spotting celebs like Florence Welch and Gael Garcia Bernal. We recommend getting a home roasted coffee from Climpson's before making your way down to the French vintage dealer to shop for quirky coats and bags -Bricklane street-market (stop off for a world famous curry while you're there) -Redchurch Street - great for Scandinavian inspired furniture stores, boutique shopping and plenty contemporary art galleries -Vyner street and its plentiful selection of art galleries -London's oldest flower market on Columbia Road every Sunday (a MUST!) - An assortment of old-world gastro pubs ans bistro style restaurants - A bus ride away from the Olympic site, as well as London's newest shopping extravaganza - Westfield Mall. Description:My flat is a two bed, two bathroom new build in the heart of Hackney Central, with easy access to London Fields, Dalston, Shoreditch and Islington and Central London. It is a homely flat, that’s clean with plenty of light and space and modern furniture. The main double bedroom has a king-size bed and en suite while the second bedroom is used as a study space, which guests are welcome to use. The open-plan living area has a full kitchen, dining table and an incredibly comfortable sofa for relaxing. It's a non-smoking flat but the entrance is via a communal outdoor space which is perfect if you're a smoker. There is wi-fi, Sky TV, DVD player, a rubbish stereo (with cable to plug ipods in) and a DAB radio which guests are free to use. Clean linen and towels are provided. The kitchen has a dishwasher and washing-machine for guests' convenience. The apartment is incredibly well-connected as it’s two minutes walk from Hackney Central station and close to all Hackney bus routes, allowing easy acces to Central London. You can be in Shoreditch, Liverpool Street or Islington within twenty minutes and London Fields and Broadway Market are just a short walk away. One of the bedroom's has double bed bunk's... You can easily sleep 6. It's right next to Hackney Downs Rail and Hackney Central so you can get into central London in 30 mins max and to the Olympic stadium in 20 mins. The area is full of trendy cafe's, bars and pubs. Not to mention the beautiful people of London Fields. On Saturday there is a food and vintage market a short walk away. On Sunday there is a wonderful flower market a quick bus ride or 35 min walk. There are lots of Artists, Designers and Creative people living in this area, which means lovely boutique shops, organic cafes, galleries, art house cinemas and book shops all within a 20 min walk. Description:**Great location for the Olympics** A good-sized and comfortable 1 bedroom apartment in the heart of Dalston, which according to The Guardian, is now the coolest place in Britain. Aside from the hype, its rich local scene does offer plenty for travelers who want to experience some of London outside the tourist attractions of the city. It's not beautiful West London, but it's a lot more lively and a lot more interesting! The area has loads of great bars, cosy pubs, clubs, restaurants, cafes, art galleries, street markets, and the best independent cinema in London. If you're not familiar with Dalston, we'll leave you with plenty of tips and suggestions as some of the best places and things to do can be hard to find. We're on a main street, so there are great transport links to every corner of the city and it's safe if you're getting back late at night. The flat is a 1 minute walk from Dalston Junction and 6 minutes to Dalston Kingsland, both on the London Overground train lines. Shoreditch or Islington are both easily accessible within about 10 minutes by bus or train. There are a number of buses to Central London from the doorstep as well and the 149 bus from our front door takes 20 minutes to London Bridge.
