The flat has two double bedrooms (one with a sofa bed that can accomodate 2 although is not a real queen size so it's ideal for one), one bathroom and a lovely living room with open plan kitchen. Description:This bright and cheerful little studio is ideal for two people who want to visit London and have a warm, cosy, safe place to stay. It has a seperate little kitchen with all the amenities , microwave, electric cooker,fridge,steamer, kettle and a fun little window to view London life. In the evenings, there are two sofa couches that you just pull out to make two, very comfortable double beds , even though this studio flat is small, there is a separate kitchen and a comfortable bathroom with shower. This bright and cheerful little studio is ideal for two people who want to visit London and have a warm, cosy, safe place to stay. The apartment is situated within walking distance between Barons Court and Hammersmith Tube stations, it is just off the Greyhound Road, which is a very lively street, with lots of various restaurants of different choices, Thai, Chinese, Lebanese ,and of course the typical english fish and chips! At the end of the road there is big supermarket and underneath the flat there is a typical corner shop which supplies sweets, tea , coffee, milk and fresh bread, and a cheeky smile ! Description:Ground floor of a Victorian villa, a very large, airy and sunny place within walking distance to great shopping on a quiet residential street in Shepherds Bush. The flat is not far from Holland Park (15-20 min) and 20-25 min walk to Portobello. This is zone 2, next to 3 tube stations, Westfield shopping, outdoor market within 5 min walk, etc. The area is a quiet street, just off Goldhawk road. Nearest tube: Goldhawk road Hammersmith & City Circle Line (2 min), Shepherds Bush Central line (10 min) Dishwasher, washer/dryer, cooker, kitchen stuff, towels and bedlinen provided, hairdryer. Minimal interior with antique pieces, all necessary things, plenty of storage, heating / hot water, large fridge/freezer. The flat has a lot of books, fine wine glasses and generally fairly nice things here and there, as it is my home, and I would appreciate if you treat it as such. Unlimited broadband and WiFi available throughout. The flat does not have a TV. It is not suitable for two people wanting to share, but rather for a couple or a single person. There is only one bed (King size), and the sofa is not really made for sleeping. As the place has old victorian wood floor the only thing I ask is to remove heavy shoes (or high heels) indoors after 9 pm, as the sound travels rather well to my downstairs neighbors. Description:Our apartment is located in the W14 district, and is an excellent base to explore London. Set in a leafy quiet residential street, you have numerous local restaurants and pubs a few minutes walk away. The area is also known as Brook Green. Within 10 minutes walk you can be exploring shopping districts like Westfield and High Street Kensington. The famous Portobello market and Notting Hill area are also a short walk or tube ride away. The property has two bedrooms with double beds overlooking gardens at the back the bathroom has a shower and bath and plenty of storage the lounge has beautiful period features, an open fire and a large bay window looking out onto the street the kitchen is located off the lounge and offers a dishwasher, washing/dryer machine, gas cooker with oven and microwave. As you enter the property, you come into a small hall area with the doors to the bedrooms, lounge and bathroom. The lounge door opens into a large high ceiling room with period features such as light fittings and cornices. There is a large sofa (which converts into a comfy sofa bed) and two 'tub' style chairs to relax in whilst you watch TV on the flat screen TV. There is a DVD player for your entertainment. In the bay window, there is a period round wooden table with five seats. The lounge window looks out onto the leafy residential street and is framed by a delightful cherry tree. The kitchen is situated off the lounge and gives you all the usual amenities as listed the bathroom has been recently decorated with large limestone tiles and has a power shower over the bath towels are provided. Both bedrooms are at the back of the property giving you even more peace and quiet. Bedroom one is the largest of the two bedrooms and has floor to ceiling sliding wardrobes with full length mirrors. There is a selection of books on the shelves to keep you occupied in case you forget to bring your own. Bedroom two is smaller and is kitted with some shelves and a walk in cupboard to hang your clothes. The bathroom is up to date with a power shower over the bath and mirrors along the two main walls. There are shelves behind the toilet to store all your items and a towel rail on the back of the door. Towels are provided. A bit about parking: At weekends you can park on the street at no charge Monday – Friday the cost is £2.20 per hour between 0900 and 1800 hours. BUT you can only park for 8 hours and the total period when parking is payable is 9 hours! Which means it has to be moved during the day. There are some local car parks that can be used however you may find that it is an expensive thing to park your car all day in W14. A bit of history about the W14 area: Comprising parts of Fulham, Hammersmith, Shepherds Bush, Holland Park and Earls Court, it seems only right that four of London's busiest west-east roads pass through here and all are bisected by an equally busy north-south route. Equally appropriate is the proliferation of hotels and boarding houses, ancillaries to the twin monoliths in the area, Olympia and Earls Court Exhibition Halls. Covering all standards of accommodation, they are perhaps the sole unifying element of this postcode. Facilities in W14 are very much geared for visitors. Slap bang in the middle of W14 is the cavernous Kensington Olympia, built in 1884 and able to supply a gargantuan 37,000 square metres of exhibition space split between its three constituent halls. In recent decades it has had to play second fiddle to the even larger Earls Court Hall - just over the border in SW5 - but with both places now owned by the same firm the two quite happily complement each other. There is certainly no shortage of takers for the halls' spaces. A glance at a typical winter schedule shows interests from around the world converging on W14 to celebrate and display the likes of paediatrics, internet broadband, cats, wine, erotica, fine arts, skiing, babies, Japan, France, accountancy, ships, pharmaceuticals, show jumping, property, graduate recruitment, weddings and the Spirit of Christmas (in November). All human life gets its day at the Olympia. Fittingly for a district of so many and so variable hotel accommodations W14 is blessed with a wide variety of restaurants. This is where the Iranian community, who are well represented in this area between Hammersmith and Kensington, do particularly well. Four Persian eateries can be sampled in W14, the Alounak, Mohsen, Royal Teheran and Yas. There is even an Iranian supermarket, Super Masood, next to the Yas restaurant on Hammersmith Road. Other restaurant cultures to make themselves known here include Chinese, Italian, Indian, American, Lebanese, Spanish, French and Ethiopian. After the Olympia, W14 must be best known for the Queens Club. Founded in 1886, the other sports which were played here gradually relocated elsewhere to leave tennis the sole survivor. Three clubs are now based here, the British Tennis Foundation, Real Tennis Kensington High Street Westfield Shopping Centre is also a huge shopping destination and newly opened in December 2008. There are three very large double bedrooms, two whole bathrooms, a huge fully equiped kitchen, TV, wireless internet, living room, utility room, terrace, two-day per week cleaner who would be changing your linen and making sure the flat is pristine and clean. House cat can be included. He's a sweet beautiful cat who hates moving out of the flat but if you need him out, I'll find him a home during your stay. Our cleaner will make sure he has food and water and that his litter is clean, although he goes out during the summer months. The terrace is a lovely place to have a drink or coffee during the summer. The flat has excellent transport services: Overground from Olympia will take you to the main Olympic Venues in Stratford in 50 minutes, a couple of miles from Hyde Park for the triathlon, two and a half miles from Green park where the volleyball will be, a mile from Earl's Court and a 50 minutes underground ride to Heathrow Airport. We are very near the High St Kensington, Holland Park, The Royal Albert Hall (to enjoy the Proms! These are world class concerts at £10 per person. We'll hint you on how to get in without queuing for hours). All the museums in South Kensington are just a few minutes on the tube or bus. Holland Park's around the corner with open air opera during the summer. You can walk to Notting Hill, Portobello Market through one of the most beautiful residential areas in London. Piccadilly and Soho is just a bus ride too. The flat is just in an excellent location and is very comfortable indeed. It will suit a whole family of 6 or three couples. Description:Nice big house over three floors in a quiet and safe area on the borders of Fulham, Chelsea and Kensington. It is a fantastic location for transport around london during the Olympics. The house is ideal for a family or for a large group of friends to stay and is child friendly. It sleeps up to 7 people. The main bedroom has a king size bed, the second bedroom has a double and there is a third bedroom on the top floor which contains a double and a single bed. There is one main bathroom upstairs and an extra toilet on the ground floor. The house is fully equipped for you to have a comfortable stay. There are TVs in each room, wireless internet, a fully equipped kitchen with a washing machine and dishwasher. There is on-street parking in front of the house. The house is just 5 mins walk from west brompton station on the District Line, or 10 mins walk to West Kensington station. There are also plenty of buses on North End Road and Lillie Road There ate lots of restaurants and bars and pubs on North End Road so you don't need to go far for food. with a great choice of food from all over the world. Description:Our home is an attractive and contemporary styled 3 bedroom Victorian house located within a neighbourly and peaceful West London village (Zone 2). Situated just five minutes walk from the nearest tube station (Ravenscourt Park, District Line) and ten minutes from Hammersmith Broadway- a major transport hub with tubes and buses connecting to all parts of the city (Piccadilly Line and Hammersmith expresso coffee machine, kettle, toaster, magimix, TV, plenty of pots and pans and more than enough crockery, cutlery and glassware for six. There is also a washing machine/dryer in the laundry room on the basement. Other stuff... We include fresh towels, toiletries and bed linen for the week (changed after the first week if staying for two weeks). Also we will include a small starter pack of essentials like washing powder, washing up liquid, teas, coffee, basic food stuffs, etc. The house will also be cleaned at the start and end of your stay and after the first week if staying for two weeks. There is no extra charge for any of the aforementioned items. If you require a more regular cleaning service this can be organised by separate agreement. And finally... Should you wish to book you will no doubt have further questions for us which we would welcome and will reply to as quickly as we can.
