Description:Welcome to the Hostess City! Stay in the 3rd floor ballroom of this historic (circa 1893) brick Victorian mansion that overlooks Forsyth Park. You will have plenty of privacy as you will have the entire third floor to yourself. The main room, which was originally built as a ballroom, is a huge room with 2 queen beds and a sectional sofa. Breakfast is not provided, but you are welcome to bring your own food as your room includes a kitchenette with a little refrigerator/freezer, microwave, toaster oven, and coffee pot. Coffee and condiments are provided as is a Brita water pitcher for your convenience. In a separate room on the same floor is a day bed with a trundle (2 twin mattresses). You will have a full bath with claw foot tub and shower plus a half bath (both on 3rd floor).The third floor has its own thermostat, so you may adjust the temperature to your liking. Wi-fi and cable with HBO and Cinemax are included.Our house is less than a mile from Bay Street and is located in the Historic District of Savannah.You will be within walking distance of the entire historic district which is full of beautiful homes with amazing architecture as well as lovely parks and squares with oak trees draped with Spanish moss. Savannah offers dozens of restaurants, pubs, coffee shops, boutiques, and art galleries.Tybee Island is only 30 minutes away which has great restaurants, pretty beaches, and beautiful sunsets. We have a 16' Boston Whaler (max 5 guests) and offer private tours. Fees vary depending on the length of the tour and fuel used.
