Description:This Duplex in historic downtown Savannah was built in 1911 and renovated in 2006. It's homey & cozy, with simple comforts for those of us who don't need brass door knobs and chandeliers to be happy. One apartment is for BnB use, and as of mid June, the other side will be occupied by the BnB manager who is a life-long resident of Savannah (and is my daughter), so is very knowledgeable about sites to see and places to eat, and is an example of true southern hospitality. A graduate of the Savh College of Art & Design, her artwork is displayed through-out the house and is available for purchase. One bedroom has a queen sized bed, the other has a twin sized trundle bed. The living room has a sleeper sofa. The living/dining and kitchen areas are combined in one large room. The kitchen is fully equipped with stove, refrigerator, microwave, cooking and eating ware. The bathroom has a shower within the claw-foot tub. Includes washer and dryer in the apartment. Train track nearby, but train runs only during the day. For a reasonably active person, it's an easy walking distance to all downtown sites of interest and businesses . 1 Mile to river street, 1/2 mile to Bull street. Description:This villa have a king size bed, queen sofa sleeper and a twin mattress in the laundry room! Located right across the street from the public beach. Our villa is a newly renovated 1-bedroom Forest Beach flat, across the street from the public beaches, the Holiday Inn and Tiki Hut. This is a favorite beach destination with easy access to beaches, restaurants, shopping, bike rentals, clubs and live entertainment. Beach towels are provided for guests to use. Our villa is a large 1 bedroom with one full bath which was recently renovated to include new ceramic tile in the bath and kitchen and hallways and a totally re-modeled kitchen including all new appliances and granite counter tops. A new HVAC system was installed in July of '09. The villa has one balcony overlooking the parking lot which faces the beach. Relax on the balcony and enjoy the soothing sounds of the ocean just across the street and feel the incredible ocean breeze. Long Term Winter Rates Available! The master bedroom provides a 19 television with cable which include premium movie channels, king size bed and large walk-in closets. The villa features your own washer and dryer in the large Laundry area. Large spacious living area provides a queen sofa-sleeper for two additional persons, two club chairs, coffee table and lamps for reading. There is a dining area featuring a table and four chairs. Many visitors park their cars for a week and walk or bike everywhere they want to go. Hilton Head Island has spent millions of dollars building bike trails in the Forest Beach area for the use of guests and residents. You may bike almost anywhere you want to go on the island. You may also ride bikes on the beach. There are many bicycle companies that offer daily/weekly bike rentals with free pick-up and delivery service. Pets are not allowed. The location is perfect, on East Bolton between Drayton and Abercorn, right alongside Forsyth. Its a 2 bedroom and 2 bathroom, with laundry, and amazing back porch.
