Originally the site of a late medieval abbey, Syon House has Tudor origins and contains some of Robert Adam’s finest interior work, which was commissioned by the first Duke of Northumberland in the 1760s. The venue is available for private hire and weddings, as a film location, or simply for a family day out. Kew Bridge Steam Museum can be spotted from many miles away thanks to the huge brick chimney that towers above the museum at its centre.
