When chain requirements are in force to drive over Donner Summit, cars exiting at Kingvale are not impacted. n nLocated near Donner Summit, in a sleepy community called Kingvale, just five minutes from Soda Springs on Highway 80. This Non-Smoking cabin has 1800 square feet. It has knotty pine inside with log accents, a beautiful big stone fireplace, and separate dining area. No sheetrock. Modern heating. A large deck faces the river. n nKingvale is a forested community of charming 1930 's and '40 's cabins and unpaved roads - it 's almost like going back in time.
