Description:Apartment to rent or to share for long or short periods of time (miniumum of three nights, maximum of six months). The apartment is 6 minutes and 7 minutes away from the Cormontaigne and Montebelo subway stops respectively. It is also 7 minutes away from the famous Wazemmes market on foot (located at the Gambetta subway stop). It is close to the shops with a Carrefour grocery store 5 minutes away by foot. It's also at 17 mn from the Gares (Gare de Lille Flandres and Gare Lille Europe) The apartment is furnished and has wifi. It is close to the shops and there is no noise, or crowds, and the apartment is in a safe area. There are four rooms including the bedroom for rent which is 14/15m². The apartment is sunny with plenty of light and has lots of amenities. There is no city noise and there is a place to park your bike along with a small cellar. The street is quiet with stunning art deco architecture (both contemporary and old style at the time time). Double occupancy is a possibility as the bedroom has a double bed. Everything is there so you can arrive with no worries. Linens and sheets are provided. One important thing : there is no television…(ever !) The price includes everything such as heat, hot water, electricity, linen and sheets, and dishes,. This is an important request because it allows you to go out, read, listen to music, surf the net (i.e. live) Internet (wifi), free street-parking for your car and bike, etc…). There are no agency fees or poll taxes. ____________________________________________________________________ Il s'agit d'une location partagée de l'appartement pour des temps plus ou moins long (minimum 5 soirs, maximum 6 mois). L’appartement est meublé avec le wifi. Il est proche de tous les commerces sans ses désavantages : pas de bruits, pas de foule, aucun trouble. Il comporte 4 pièce dont la chambre à louer représente 14/15m² . Il est ensoleillé, lumineux, tout confort, équipé, sans bruit de la ville, avec un espace à vélo et un petite cave, la rue est calme, la déco surprenante (à la fois ancienne et contemporaine). Localisation : L’appartement est à 6mn du métro Cormontaigne et à 7mn du métro Montebelo et aussi à 7 mn à pied du fameux marché de Wazemmes (métro gambetta), commerces à proximité immédiate, carrefour market à 5 minutes à pied. Vous pouvez venir passer du temps seul(e) ou à deux car le lit est simple et double (suffit d’installer le second matelas) et il y a évidement tout ce qu’il faut pour arriver sans inquiétude car literie et draps sont déjà là. Seul impératif : accepter LA règle de la maison : pas de télévision… et n’en aura pas ! Description:This newly renovated seaside villa, in a popular Normandy village, is in a quiet spot. At the end of the street, is a 12km sand beach, stretching south to the historic town of Granville, birthplace of Christian Dior. n nThe house is a very comfortable family house, suitable for very large families or several families sharing. The house sleeps 12 very comfortably, in 6 bedrooms, and has a large enclosed private garden, good for running around, football and dogs. n nThere are four bedrooms with twin beds that can be converted into superking size beds if preferred and two other bedrooms, one with a queen size 140cm double bed and the other with a 160cm double bed. They are hotel quality beds, which are extremely comfortable. There are also two wooden cot beds (under 2s). n nThe bedrooms are situated on both floors, which allows for some extra privacy. The two downstairs bedrooms both have the twin/superking option, with a bathroom and loo shared between the two rooms. Upstairs are two bathrooms one with bath and loo, and one with a shower and a separate loo. n nThere are also two high chairs, and we provide potties, a baby bath, extra high chairs etc if needed. The house is also equipped with plastic plates, spoons and knives for children. On request we can provide a baby pack, including nappies, baby food etc. In fact apart from a baby buggy/pram, we try to provide everything you will need. There is a good range of toys and games for different ages, including a wendy house, trampoline, and all the necessary buckets, spades and toys for the beach. n nWe also supply all the towels for the beach and house, all linens and a 10kg washing machine, 8kg tumble drier, and all the shower and house cleaning products. Our aim is that you should be able to travel as light as possible. There is a good selection of books and films (over 400) in the house, both for adults and children, and Sky TV and French TNT. n nSt Martin is a really fantastic place for children of all ages. There is an amazing range of activities for ages from 3 . At the bottom of the street is the sailing club, which also does sand yachting, kite surfing etc. Next to it is the golf course. In the other direction is the riding school. Because the house is on the edge of the village it is very quiet, and our neighbour is a spa for horses, where the French International teams come and do their final preparation in July. Every morning from 6am to 9.30am, all summer long, you can go and watch the horses gallop along the beach through the surf. n nThis coast-line has the largest tides in Europe, and when the tides are very high, you can go a couple of kms up the coast and watch the salt marshes flood, which is impressive to see. The sea where we are is relatively shallow, at all but high tide, and you can see the mussel beds rising out of the sea and eat really fresh mussels in the village restaurant. It also means it is a good place to learn to swim and when the tide is out you can stand in the sea and watch the fish swimming round you.... more info >>
