Description:The house is a restored contemporary designed historic house located in one of the prettiest parts of the old center right in front of the baroque St-Anne's church on a cobblestone square. It's an easy 5-10 minute walk along the beautiful canals to most of the city's highlights. There are also a couple of nice museums just around the corner. The area is really quiet but supersafe. There are a couple of good upscale restaurants and bars nearby and a quaint bistro on the square itself. Self-catering is no problem either as there is a supermarket really close as well as some delicious bakeries, etc... There is free (limited time -blue disc) parking right in front of the door. The house itself has 3 floors (no elevator). The ground floor has a large living room with open annexed dining room and kitchen. The upper floors each have a bathroom (one with a jacuzzi, the other with a shower) and bedrooms. There's no large garden but a pretty bamboo lined terrace with a table some sunloungers in case the weather would allow for sunbathing. Some of the amenities: WIFI, cable TV, guest computer, radio, dishwasher, laundromat, stove oven, microwave, fridge/freezer and pretty much everything you might need in the kitchen. As I usually live in the house there will be basic food products too. You can use it but be fair and replenish the products you used. GHENT Is the central place to be in Flanders region. It can be your homebase to visit the rest of the country. From Ghent you reach easily Bruges, Antwerp, Brussels, Paris, Amsterdam. Ghent itselves is one of the major historical cities of Belgium. FROM MY apartment you can visit all in a walk: the three towers, the cathedral, shopping, the castle, TOURIST nearby castle. Even all public transport is around. Apartment: There is a master bedroom with double bed, and a second bedroom with 2 single beds and a bunk bed. I still have a cot. I offer you my whole apartment shared with a furnished kitchen, living room, bathroom with bath, 2 sleeping rooms. My way of living makes that we just meet when it is necessary. Ghent is a small city with 297 bars, 50.000 students, an alive music scene with free concerts every day, good secondhand shopping, very relaxed natives and almost no cannibals. The city lies between Bruges and Brussels, and that's also what it feels like: you get a romantic setting with pretty medieval buildings (like Bruges) mixed up with a living nightlife (like Brussels). The apartment has a big living-room, 1 bedroom and a private bathroom with a shower, two sinks and toilet. Or go out to the Opera or Sebastopole Theather. The apartment is 6 minutes and 7 minutes away from the Cormontaigne and Montebelo subway stops respectively. Description:This great but nonetheless no frills and thus reasonably priced studio is situated very near to the Coupure in Ghent, just a stone throw away from the historic city center, just a 10 min walk away! Supermarket, laundry and all you need is just down the stairs. Sunny terrace and breath taking view for long breakfasts or cosy warm nights and smoking (please no smoking inside...). Description:Seaview appartment in Mondain Knokke. Near beautiful nature, sea and sports facilities. But also Casino, posh clubs and many boutiques in the Village. The apartment is a little bit dated, but very clean and light. It includes flatscreen TV, washing machine, dishwashing machine, and lots of beach stuff like towels, beach chairs, beach ball etc. A parking place is included. The great escape, only an hour and a half from Antwerp and 3 hours from Amsterdam! A week passes by in an instant in this village on the coast that includes the best of both a mondain city and a rural village. Come and enjoy! Leon PS. This is our holiday home.
