Description:The house is a restored contemporary designed historic house located in one of the prettiest parts of the old center right in front of the baroque St-Anne's church on a cobblestone square. It's an easy 5-10 minute walk along the beautiful canals to most of the city's highlights. There are also a couple of nice museums just around the corner. The area is really quiet but supersafe. There are a couple of good upscale restaurants and bars nearby and a quaint bistro on the square itself. Self-catering is no problem either as there is a supermarket really close as well as some delicious bakeries, etc... There is free (limited time -blue disc) parking right in front of the door. The house itself has 3 floors (no elevator). The ground floor has a large living room with open annexed dining room and kitchen. The upper floors each have a bathroom (one with a jacuzzi, the other with a shower) and bedrooms. There's no large garden but a pretty bamboo lined terrace with a table some sunloungers in case the weather would allow for sunbathing. Some of the amenities: WIFI, cable TV, guest computer, radio, dishwasher, laundromat, stove oven, microwave, fridge/freezer and pretty much everything you might need in the kitchen. As I usually live in the house there will be basic food products too. You can use it but be fair and replenish the products you used. Description:When you book, you have the house for you alone, free internet (ask me for the password) , fully equipped kitchen, 1 bathroom with bad & shower, 3 bedrooms, 1 double bed, 5 single beds, and coach, 1 dog allowed, if you have more dogs, you can, but you have to pay more cleaning costs. We also can deliver bedsheets and towels for one night or multiple night. we have a non smoking policy, however if you insist in smoking, you may smoke outside on the lawn. Description:This great but nonetheless no frills and thus reasonably priced studio is situated very near to the Coupure in Ghent, just a stone throw away from the historic city center, just a 10 min walk away! Supermarket, laundry and all you need is just down the stairs. Sunny terrace and breath taking view for long breakfasts or cosy warm nights and smoking (please no smoking inside...). Equipped kitchen and modern bathroom. No tv but wireless internet is coming soon. Description:Gasthof Groenhove is an oasis of peace within walking distance of the historic centre, that won 't leave any visitor indifferent. The hotel is an old, charming villa and has six comfortable rooms with bathroom (some with bath, most with walk-in showers), telephone, mini-bar, safe, wireless internet and TV. The limited number of rooms guarantees a personal welcome and a family atmosphere. The rooms vary in size, and are elegant and romantically furnished. Most of the rooms have lovely large windows overlooking the gardens which surround the hotel. Reception is the large hall of the old house, which has a beautiful staircase leading to the first floor, from where a staircase leads to the top floor where there are two very large rooms, perfect for families. The gardens are quite extensive with water features, and give the hotel the air of being in the country. Bicycles are available to hire from the hotel (free of charge for our guests). A cot can be provided in the rooms free of charge for infants less than 1 year old. Breakfast is served in the light and airy glass-sided veranda with a view of the hotel 's garden or outside in the garden. It is also possible to have breakfast in the room. Free parking in the grounds. Location Although outside the inner ring road, you can walk to the old historical centre in 8 minutes (750 meters) and to the market square in the centre in no more than 20 minutes (1500 meters).
