Description:The house is a restored contemporary designed historic house located in one of the prettiest parts of the old center right in front of the baroque St-Anne's church on a cobblestone square. It's an easy 5-10 minute walk along the beautiful canals to most of the city's highlights. There are also a couple of nice museums just around the corner. The area is really quiet but supersafe. There are a couple of good upscale restaurants and bars nearby and a quaint bistro on the square itself. Self-catering is no problem either as there is a supermarket really close as well as some delicious bakeries, etc... There is free (limited time -blue disc) parking right in front of the door. The house itself has 3 floors (no elevator). The ground floor has a large living room with open annexed dining room and kitchen. The upper floors each have a bathroom (one with a jacuzzi, the other with a shower) and bedrooms. There's no large garden but a pretty bamboo lined terrace with a table some sunloungers in case the weather would allow for sunbathing. Some of the amenities: WIFI, cable TV, guest computer, radio, dishwasher, laundromat, stove oven, microwave, fridge/freezer and pretty much everything you might need in the kitchen. As I usually live in the house there will be basic food products too. You can use it but be fair and replenish the products you used. Description:This flat is only available in JULY. 1-room flat on the 17th floor with a stunning view. The old city centre is a 10-minute walk away. Ghent is a small city with 297 bars, 50.000 students, an alive music scene with free concerts every day, good secondhand shopping, very relaxed natives and almost no cannibals. The city lies between Bruges and Brussels, and that's also what it feels like: you get a romantic setting with pretty medieval buildings (like Bruges) mixed up with a living nightlife (like Brussels). I'm moving out in June, so my flat will be mainly unfurnished. There will be a bed though, and a table to eat at with two chairs . The flat is completely yours during your stay. The apartment is 6 minutes and 7 minutes away from the Cormontaigne and Montebelo subway stops respectively. It is also 7 minutes away from the famous Wazemmes market on foot (located at the Gambetta subway stop). It is close to the shops with a Carrefour grocery store 5 minutes away by foot. It's also at 17 mn from the Gares (Gare de Lille Flandres and Gare Lille Europe) The apartment is furnished and has wifi. It is close to the shops and there is no noise, or crowds, and the apartment is in a safe area. There are four rooms including the bedroom for rent which is 14/15m². The apartment is sunny with plenty of light and has lots of amenities. There is no city noise and there is a place to park your bike along with a small cellar. The street is quiet with stunning art deco architecture (both contemporary and old style at the time time). Double occupancy is a possibility as the bedroom has a double bed. Everything is there so you can arrive with no worries. Linens and sheets are provided. One important thing : there is no television…(ever !) The price includes everything such as heat, hot water, electricity, linen and sheets, and dishes,. This is an important request because it allows you to go out, read, listen to music, surf the net (i.e. live) Internet (wifi), free street-parking for your car and bike, etc…).
