The flat is only a short distance (3 mins walk) from Clapham High street - which has an excellent array of shops, bars and restaurants. The famous Clapham Common is just the other on the high street if you fancy some gorgeous open green space and a place to run, walk or have an english picnic (strawberries and cream and lot of Pimms, if you are wondering!) TRANSPORT We are ideally located by 3 tube stations, (Clapham North, Stockwell and Brixton) the closest of which is within a 3 minute walk - making it super quick to get to where you need to go. Clapham Junction train station is also very close with super fast links to Gatwick & Heathrow airport and the beach (Brighton). ACCOMMODATION The flat has 1 large bedroom, open plan living and kitchen, large bathroom. You can rent the whole flat which can sleep up to 5 x people - 2 x people in the bed, 2 x people on the blow up mattress (inflates in 60 secs and is very comfy!) and 1 x person on the sofa - they are all very comfortable....i've slept on all of them! Alternatively, you can rent the flat for just 1-2 people and enjoy the extra space. Description:Available for you to rent is a 1 bedroom fully furnished apartment. I live in the Kennington/Vauxhall/Oval area, south of Thames. Quite close to Central London - 20 min by bus to Piccadilly circus and Soho. The Parliament buildings at Westminster and the London Eye lie within walking distance. There is a view of Big Ben from my balcony. The building is brand new (built in 2009). Available for you to use are Wi-fi internet access, cable tv, a microwave, fridge, freezer, electrical oven, washing machine (sorry, no dryer - they are not very common in the UK). King size bed (for 2 people), a couch and an additional airbed if needed. There is no smoking inside the apartment, and no pets are allowed. I often travel and it would be great to rent out my flat while I am away. I have a friend who will be able to meet you and give you the keys. The area is very nice and green. Several parks are nearby (Kennington park and Vauxhall park). There are several very good restaurants nearby, a big grocery store (Tesco) is a 10 min walk away. The area is very safe. Description:My London home is a maisonnette with verandah stocked with herbs peonies and roses, 2 minutes walk from the rail link to the City of London and 25 minutes by bus to Soho and the West End or less to the South Bank Centre with the National Theatre,British FiIm Institute,Hayward Gallery,Festival Hall etc There are two double bedrooms(one has a TV) and a wetroom :no good for those who need a bath as there is none! Just a Philippe Starck shower room. Cook whatever you like in my well stocked kitchen, and if you want to eat out in the area, I'll tell you about the local pubs and cafes(English, French, Greek, Chinese, Spanish,Italian). Camberwell was a village on wooded hills in the 18th century and the houses still have lovely back gardens, so you are woken by birdsong. Eastlake road is pure 1840s(not at all like the view of Lilford Road ,but if you map Eastlake Road you will see it!) If you rent the entire apartment it sleeps 4 (2 double bedrooms)and costs £100 per night.Alternatively you may want just one guest bedroom,with me still in residence,when it sleeps 2 in the double bed and costs £40 per night.... more info >>

Description:The apartment is two minutes walk from the river Thames and exactly near Lambeth Bridge and Lambeth Palace. Westminster Abbey, the iconic Big Ben and Parliament are just 10 minutes away but can be seen and best photographed from Lambeth Bridge (see my profile picture) The nearest underground stations are Westminster, Lambeth North and Vauxhall stations and they are within 10/15 minutes walk from the house. There are also many buses stopping nearby. The apartment is located on the 5th floor with elevator and it has 1 double bed in the bedroom and 1 comfortable double sofabed and 1 comfortable single sofa bed in the sitting room. Linen and towels are provided. There is a wireless internet connection called BT fone that can be picked up with laptops but there is a charge per hour/ day/ week. Check the BT fone web site for details. There are also a couple of Starbucks with free wireless about a 5 minute walk from the house and two Apple stores with free wireless are open all day in Covent Garden or Oxford Circus. Depending on the period of the year, the price per night is from 60 GBP (1 guest), 90 GBP (2 guests), 120 GBP (3 guests), 150 GBP (4 guests), 180 GBP (5 guests) . Description:Lovely 2 bedroom apartment in leafy Balham. Available for the Olympics - we are flexible with dates so let me know what you want! Apartment has hardwood floors and a new kitchen and bathroom. Balham is a trendy area of London (20 minutes on tube away from the centre) and with trains direct (30min to surrey) to the SE if you want to escape the city for the coast or hills. Balham is full of lovely bars, resurants and Deli's and the apartment is just a 2 minute walk to tooting common. There is a garden and bbq should the british weather behave! The second bedroom has a sofa bed but it is very comfy and we have had friends stay on it for over 2 weeks! Beautiful leafy street with nice neighbours - quiet, but centrally located, only 7 minutes' walk from Brixton Tube (Victoria Line - Zone 2) close to market, shops, cinema and bars. Easy and quick travel all over London - 20 minutes to centre of the city by Tube. Flat arranged over two floors so plenty of space. Central heating, washing machine. I'm looking for a quiet, clean and responsible person who will look after my home in my absence. The bedroom is a small, cosy single (my previous guest, at 6' 3 found the bed small but for an average height person it is more than adequate), and there is plenty of room in the rest of the apartment to spread out and relax - huge living room, lovely large kitchen and big bathroom with old Victorian bath. I'm a writer and this house is cosy and full of character, with lovely wooden floors and old-fashioned fittings. It is clean and modest, with many books. They are all within walking distance of the flat. Happy to provide any local tips! The flat is close to the Tube station and a quick 12 minute ride into central London. It's also well situated for all local buses. There's a Sainsbury's, Tesco and M&S all within walking distance. This will take you to Victoria station within 20 minutes, or there is a bus right outside the apartment that will drop you off in central London in one hour. We both commute into the City every day with ease! There are also express buses that go non stop to Waterloo station during rush hour to make our life easier. Because we live there full time, this property is only on offer while we're away on holidays. Full kitchen facilities (no microwave, but we have oven, stove, blender, breadmaker, etc) Washing machine, TV with Freeview box, DVD player, free wi fi access and local calls are all included. The local area is full of beautiful parks which are perfect for a summer picnic or an early morning jog for the fit and eager! There are lots of great restaurants and cafes just minutes away from the studio and I am always happy to recommend my favourite places to our guests. The studio itself is located at the rear of my Hair Salon and I have taken to offering all guests a free Haircut included within their stay! I didn't think this would be as popular as it has been. As it turns out people seem to enjoy me helping them find the perfect place to go out for the evening and then making sure they look the part! On a practical note, there are tonnes of great bus,tube and train links all just mins away that take you all across London. The studio is perfect for a couple. It comes with a cooker, microwave, iron, linen, towels, unlimited internet, toaster, kettle, fridge, washing machine all utensils and crockery. The bathroom has a good size bath and shower. Preference - and a better rate- is given to people who will stay the entire time. Rate for the Olympics is £125/night, plus cleaning fee, plus extra guest fee for guests above 2 people. This is a 2-room flat, so it would be tight for 4. 1BR flat on Electric Avenue-- 2 minutes' walk from Brixton Tube station. Most place in Central London in 15 minutes on the Tube, and a host of night busses that will get you back home if you stay out too late. The flat is located inside the historic listed Brixton Market, with the excellent Ritzy Cinema right here, and the a wide variety of food options, including one of London's best coffee shops (Federation Coffee), the UK's best pizza (Franco Manca, according to the Observer), the swanky Upstairs french food place, more excellent Jerk Chicken than you can shake a stick at, and the Dogstar, Hootenanny, Jamm, and the Brixton Academy all within walking distance. The Brixton Market is outside and a great source of fresh, high-quality, cheap food year-round. Double bed (sleeps 2) and a fold-down sofa with sheets in the base. There's a mattress under the bed which is more comfortable than the fold-down sofa. Shower over tub with on-demand hot water. Oven, hob, kettle, and microwave. NOTE: I HAVE NO TELEVISION. There is fast, free wifi included (on which you can watch iplayer/4OD/etc... but there's much more to do outside rather than watch telly. I am an experienced AirBnB Superhost who has also travelled as an AirBnB traveller! To add to that AirBnB have been to my flat to take photos so the pictures you see are indeed how my flat looks! This flat is in Camberwell Zone 2 and the fact that you will be a 10 minute walk to Brixton Town Centre and a 5 minute bus ride to Brixton tube and a 5 minute walk to Loughborough Junction train station which all gets you into Central London Zone 1 in 10 minutes means access to London's many delights is in the palm of your hand! It is a lively spot with many bars, restaurants, clubs, cinemas, cafes, markets and health food shops to name but a few. Brixton will give you a taste of the real London for those of you looking to go off the beaten tourist track into the local heart of this great city. If in doubt check out 'Brixton Village' market online and you will then know what I am talking about! But what is really different about this flat? There is no TV to assist in creating a nice relaxed spiritual vibe so if you are a meditator or yogi, or anybody looking for a positively energised chilled out haven in a crazy busy city then you will thoroughly enjoy the feng shui'd atmosphere we have going on here! Coming to London for the Olympics? This entire flat is available sleeping up to 6 with two double rooms and a pull out sofa bed in the living room. The Olympic daily base rate for July & Aug 2012 is £130 then £20 per extra person. For example six people for one night works out at £230...only £38 each! Why so cheap? We want you to enjoy this once in a lifetime experience without it costing you the earth! If you have more than six people we could put down an airbed in the larger double room no problem! Local buses: 35, 45, 345 All these buses are only a few stops away from Brixton Tube on the Victoria Line and the 345 also takes you to Stockwell Tube on the Northern Line. Going the other direction if you don't want to tube it into central London the 35 goes to London Bridge and Old Street in East London and the 45 goes to Kings Cross. Brixton itself has tons of buses going every which way! Airports and International Trains: The 45 goes direct to Kings Cross and so does the local overground train (15mins) which is perfect for the Eurostar to Paris and more! The 35 goes to Clapham Junction where you take a train direct to Gatwick that gets you there in 20 mins. The local overground train also goes to Luton Airport Parkway in 60 mins, where you take a 5 min shuttle to Luton Airport. For Heathrow you take the Victoria Line tube from Brixton, change once onto the Picadilly line and then you are straight all the way to terminals 1,2,3,4 and 5. The local overground takes you to Farringdon tube station where you are 3 stops from Liverpool Street Station which has the direct Stansted Airport Express train. Night buses: N35 24 Hours Many many night buses go from central London to Elephant and Castle, where you can easily catch the N35 and be home from there in only 10min! Or you might be very central, go out in the West End, where you can catch N68 straight from Tottenham Court Road, Holborn or Waterloo to Camberwell Green and we are a 5 min walk from there. However if public transport late at night is not your thing I also have a super cheap local cab number to hand! Local overground train: Loughborough Junction train station is a 5 min walk away and it gets into Central London in 10 mins where you can also access the heart of the tube network. My flat is situated a 6 min walk from the most lovely park so if you are a park person you will really love our local Ruskin Park.
