Description:The apartment is surrounded by the green vineyards of Tuscany in the countryside near Castiglion Fibocchi, Arezzo, under the Pratomagno Mountain, famous for nature, wildlife, little ancient villages, good cuisine and excellent wine. It is part of an old farm house, property of our family, which we have restaured. The house has two apartments (this one and a smaller one for 2-3 people) each with his own entrance. Outside there is a common garden where You can relax during the beautiful Tuscan evenings. The apartment is very suitable for families or groups of friends (4-6 people) who have a car and want to do a tour of Tuscany. The apartment is restored in original country style. It 's 100 square meters and consists of: a large living room with sofa and TV, a typical Tuscan kitchen with stove refrigerator, dishwasher, table and chairs, traditional fireplace, one double bedroom and two twin bedrooms all with wrought iron beds, 2 bathrooms with shower, sink and toilet. The interiors and furnishings are Tuscan style. Most of the objects and furnishings are from the family. The price is very actractive. We have started our activity recently (in 2011) and we have decided, for 2012, to offer our guests the possibility to stay in a very beautiful and relaxing apartment at a very promotional price. Linen and towels are included in the price and will be changed once per week. With an agreement, We offer a swimming pool service, around 2 km from the apartment, to only 5 euro/day (adult), 2,5 euro/day kids (3-12 years) and free for little baby (under 3 years). You can buy the tickets discounted from us. At their arrival, the guests will find a present (a bottle of Chianti Wine from our vineyards) as our welcome. People who will stay for at least 1 week could be our guests for a beautiful, typical Tuscan dinner. The apartment is located in Castiglion Fibocchi. The area is very safe and quiet so, think just relaxing and enjoying it. In Castiglion Fibocchi 0,8 km from the house, you can find farmacy, supermarket and all you need. In the house You will also find the numbers for every emergencies. The location of the apartment is very central and allows to reach easily: Arezzo (12 km) where You can visit the beautiful Pieve (Romanesque church) and the church of San Francesco with the frescoes of Piero della Francesca, the beautiful village of Loro Ciuffenna, Florence (65 km) with all its monuments, museums and the famous Ponte Vecchio, Siena (60 km) and all the Chianti area (40 km), the medieval town of Anghiari (30 km), Casentino area (20-30 km) with its extensive woodlands and beautiful restored historical buildings, including many castles and abbeys and Cortona (40 km), with his etruscan sites. Lake Trasimeno is another wonderful place for sports and relax. For nature lovers there is the National Park of Foreste casentinesi (25 km) and the Monastery of La Verna, where San Francesco d'Assisi lived as hermit. Very peaceful area is Rapolano Terme, spa town with wonderful termal baths (30 minutes away). For those seeking entertainment and nightlife there are several options in Arezzo or even in Florence, with their bar, pubs and club. Very close to the apartment (5 km) there is the disco club Dolce Verde open from spring to autumn. About shopping, there are several famous outlet: first at all Prada Space in Montevarchi (10 km) and the Fashion Valley in Incisa Area (40 km) with The Mall outlet, The Groove and Dolce&Gabbana.... more info >>

Description:THE HOUSE: Would you like to spend a wonderful week in complete relaxation in the picturesque countryside of Tuscany? Our villa is what you are looking for.Located in one of the most beautiful tuscan landscapes, it is an enchantingly renovated old country house set on the hillside near the little town of Palaia (Pisa) and surrounded by a marvellous natural fresco where flowers, olives and vineyards are some of the main subjects. The accommodation is completely furnished in a rustic way, with traditional floors and nice wooden beam-ceilings. On the ground floor you can find the kitchen/dining room complete with oven, big wooden dining table, a large hob, freezer and fridge. The sitting room, where you can relax by the fire on two comfortable sofas and listen to some good music, is carefully furnished and communicates with the dining room. The bathroom is also on the ground floor and has a roomy shower, basin, w.c. and bidet. Upstairs there are two bedrooms, the first one with a double bed (or twin beds), excellent wardrobe and TV and the second with a double bed (or twin beds), TV and DVD as well. Every little detail has been chosen with much care and interest. From our property guests may reach every interesting historical city or important seaside resorts in more or less one hour. The estate, completely isolated from noise and pollution of towns, is ideal for those who look for relax and privacy. The house is equipped with all the modern facilities to make your stay as pleasant and easy as possible. There is nothing more to say now it is time to see our house with your own eyes! TIPS: Palaia is a very small village which has a gorgeous country around.It is definetly a good base to visit the beauties of Tuscany,living at the same time to relax of an uncontaminated environment.Only 15 mins by car and you are in Pontedera,small city but with lots of nice bars,pubs and restaurant as well as a lot of activities such as tennis,swimming pools,football and so on.If you want to visit the Dome,the Uffizi or Ponte Vecchio in Florence(the cradle of Renaissance)you can go either by car(1h20)or by train from Pontedera(50mins).One day you could go to Pisa and lay in the sun on the grass of Piazza dei Miracoli with the famous Leaning Tower in front of you(50 mins by car or 15 mins with the train from Pontedera).You cannot miss Siena with his marvellous Piazza del Campo which in August changes in a Horse race for the Palio.Moreover the location is well related with famous wine itineraries and it is for example very nice to drive along the road to San Gimignano,which passes through hills and valleys,and along which many farms produce and sell their own olive oil and wine for competitive prices.Lucca and Viareggio are also easily reachable.We will be very happy to give information’s about place where to go and good restaurants!... more info >>

Description:Luca’s House is an old country small-holding dating back to the 19th century. Built entirely in stone it has been renovated respecting the typical architectural characteristics of the area blended with touches of artistic masonry. Two apartments are also available for long or short stays for 7-8 people .The surrounding area Located in the area where the Maremma and the Val D’Orcia Nature Park meet, Mount Amiata is an ancient volcano (1774 m.) with an abundance of underground thermal waters. People can ski at the top of the mountain whose slopes reach down to the outskirts of the Argento coast. Skiing: the ski slopes are about 10 minutes by car from the farm. In winter there are several kilometers of slopes equipped with two chair lifts and ski lifts. The closest thermal bath (20 minutes by car) is at San Filippo in the area there are thermal baths at Bagni Vignone or San Casciano up to those at Petriolo and Saturnia. Mount Amiata has always been a crossroads of intense spiritual activity thanks to its churches and to the Via Francigena which flanks it in the north. At the beginning of the 19th century it witnessed the rise of David Lazzaretti’s social-Christian community on Mount Labro. At the moment it is home to Merigar, the seat of the Dzogchen Community, one of the biggest Tibetan Buddhist centres in Italy whose monuments attract tourists from all over the world every year. In the area of Seggiano and Pescina you can visit the Spoerri Garden, a museum of contemporary art created by Daniel Spoerri which attracts an international audience. Around the house covers an acre of land fenced in which we created a garden, an olive grove that produces an excellent extra virgin, strictly organic garden and a grove of tall trees. So we can enjoy tomatoes, chard, zucchini, salads of various kinds, peas, beans, broccoli and cauliflower, grapes, strawberries, depending on the season. We also collect from our belowed trees plums, peaches, apricots, apples and walnuts. The tranquil location is a heaven of peace and quiet while at the same time being very close to all amenities offered by the busy market town of Marsciano. The house is located about 12 km from the main road through the centre of Umbria linking Assisi (30 minutes), Perugia (20 minutes), Orvieto (40 minutes), Todi (15 minutes) and Spoleto (50 minutes). ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ FURTHER DETAILS Normally guests are welcome no earlier than 15 and check out is at 11 o'clock. Description:The apartment is surrounded by the green vineyards of Tuscany in the countryside near Castiglion Fibocchi, Arezzo, under the Pratomagno Mountain, famous for nature, wildlife, little ancient villages, good cuisine and excellent wine. It is part of an old farm house, property of our family, which we have restaured. The house has two apartments (this one and a bigger one for 4-6 people) each with his own entrance. Outside there is a common garden where You can relax during the beautiful Tuscan evenings. The apartment has been created to accommodate 2 people and is particularly suitable for couples, spouses or a couple of friends who have a car and want to do a tour of Tuscany. It represents also an excellent solution for a family with one young son for this solution the living room is provided with a sofa bed. The apartment is approx. 70 square meters and consists of: a large living room that includes a typical Tuscan kitchen with stove, refrigerator and dishwasher, table and chairs, traditional fireplace, a sofa and a TV, one bedroom with a double bed in wrought iron and a private bathroom with shower, sink and toilet and a washmachine. The interiors and furnishings are Tuscan style. Most of the objects and furnishings are from the family. The price is very actractive. We have started our activity recently (in 2011) and we have decided, for 2012, to offer our guests the possibility to stay in a very beautiful and relaxing apartment at a very promotional price. Linen and towels are included in the price and will be changed once per week. With an agreement, We offer a swimming pool service, around 2 km from the apartment, to only 5 euro/day (adult), 2,5 euro/day kids (3-12 years) and free for little baby (under 3 years). The location of the apartment is very central and allows to reach easily: Arezzo (12 km) where You can visit the beautiful Pieve (Romanesque church) and the church of San Francesco with the frescoes of Piero della Francesca, the beautiful village of Loro Ciuffenna, Florence (65 km) with all its monuments, museums and the famous Ponte Vecchio, Siena (60 km) and all the Chianti area (40 km), the medieval town of Anghiari (30 km), Casentino area (20-30 km) with its extensive woodlands and beautiful restored historical buildings, including many castles and abbeys and Cortona (40 km), with his etruscan sites. Lake Trasimeno is another wonderful place for sports and relax. For nature lovers there is the National Park of Foreste casentinesi (25 km) and the Monastery of La Verna, where San Francesco d'Assisi lived as hermit. Description:Comignano country-house Comignano country house was in ‘800 and in ‘900 a wonderful agricultural farm that produced fruits for the whole Mugello valley. It was built, in late 1700, with a functional project: to build it at the bottom of a natural basin. The reason for this was to let carts, loaded with agricultural products, reach the house going downhill, with less effort for men and animals. The farm building, following customs of the period, was started after a meticulous watching of the place by masons who were used to choosing the best place to build, through careful thought, after having slept there some nights in winter and summer. Territorial plentiful waters are free from any contamination and reach the country house by a spring and an artesian well. The water coming from the well has beneficial diuretic effects, coming directly from the taps to drink. Following farmer’s customs, there is also a rainwater harvesting of 20.000 liters. In uncultivated areas you can find, amidst the natural vegetation, ancient fruit trees that bear record to times when those places were intensively cultivated. You can find them along the stream Lora that marks the boundary of what remains of a big farm that in the beginning of 1900 extended for hundreds of hectares. During the second half of 1900, the abandonment of agricultural work towards industry, led to the degradation of this agricultural land. At the end of the second world war, in 1943 the house was blasted leaving intact the only loft that has now been recovered and restructured. The blasted house was rebuilt in the same place but with a new and different shape and in the ’50s lodged a rural school in part of it. It has been lived in by farmers until 1980 and then put on sale in the ’90s when we bought it. The abandonment of agriculture and the consequent absence of chemical treatments, has helped the preservation of rich and full fauna environment, as much as the presence of insects that are their food source. Now we use part of the arable land as orchard, part as kitchen garden, but the most part is left on loan to the neighbouring sheep breeding (that you can also reach afoot, pictures on the slide show) where you can buy very good cheese and fresh ricotta, made by sheep’s milk grazing under your eyes.... more info >>
